Milk and Honey is an album credited to John Lennon and Yoko Ono released in 1984. It is Lennon's eighth and final studio album, and the first posthumous release of Lennon's music, having been recorded in the last months of his life during and following the sessions for their 1980 album Double Fantasy. It was assembled by Yoko Ono in association with the Geffen label.
Milk and Honey was the duo's projected follow-up to Double Fantasy, though Lennon's death caused a temporary shelving of the project. It took Ono three years to be able to resume work to complete it. Ono's material largely comprises new recordings, which she undertook during the album's preparation in 1983, which give her songs a more commercial and contemporary edge. Conversely, Lennon's material, being rough takes and rehearsal recordings, has a more casual feeling.
"Nobody Told Me", a song Lennon had intended for Ringo Starr's 1981 Stop and Smell the Roses, was released as a single and became a worldwide Top 10 hit. Other singles from the album were "I'm Stepping Out" and "Borrowed Time". The songs "Let Me Count the Ways" and "Grow Old with Me" were written by Lennon and Ono to each other using inspiration from poems by Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Robert Browning. They are presented in their demo form.
"Say Yeah" is a song by an American hip hop recording artist Wiz Khalifa. Released as Khalifa's first single following his signing to Rostrum and Warner Bros. Records but second in overall, following his first single, "Pittsburgh Sound". the song was written by Khalifa and Johnny Juliano, with production of the song being handled by the latter. The song heavily samples the 1998 song "Better Off Alone" by Dutch Eurodance group Alice DeeJay.
"Say Yeah" peaked at number 11 on the US Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. It also reached the top twenty on the US Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart. "Say Yeah" was Khalifa's only single to be released on Warner Bros., as he would later leave the label over disputes regarding the release of his major-label debut studio album.
Rostrum Records president Benjy Grinberg first heard about Wiz Khalifa in 2004 when the rapper's contribution to a mixtape of various new Pittsburgh artists attracted his interest. When Grinberg finally met the 16-year-old artist, he immediately decided he wanted to work with him, later telling HitQuarters: "Even though he wasn't all the way developed you could just tell that he was a diamond in the rough, and that with some polishing, guidance and backing he could become something special." Khalifa signed to the label shortly after and began a seven-year period of artist development. Following hype generated by his 2006 album Show and Prove, Khalifa signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2007. "Say Yeah" was released as his first single with the label in January 2008 via digital download. It was later solicited to US rhythmic radio in March.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (often abbreviated CYHSY) is the musical project of American indie rock musician Alec Ounsworth; based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and founded in 2004. Until 2014, the project operated as a band; with drummer Sean Greenhalgh being a member for its entirety. Keyboardist/guitarist Robbie Guertin and brothers Lee (guitar/vocals) and Tyler (bass) Sargent were also a part of the band from its inception until their collective departure in 2012. Their debut album, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, was self-released in 2005.
The band, whose members met years earlier at Connecticut College, formed in the beginning of 2004 and played shows in Manhattan and Brooklyn. They are notable for achieving their initial fame and commercial success via the internet rather than through a record label.Shortly after the release of their first album, they received attention from numerous MP3 blogs and a favorable review from Pitchfork Media , who gave the band a "Best New Music" commendation. The ensuing demand for the album was so great that the band was forced to re-press the CD, as the initial production run was too small. They garnered even more press after David Bowie and David Byrne were spotted at some of the band's shows in 2005.

Happy first day of November. I finished Animal Farm by George Orwell today. I recommend it. From the self-titled album by Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - Over and Over Again (Lost & Found) I heard it from a friend The Revolution never happened Sigh A little die No more a child Goodbye Now where's the woolen sweater You mentioned in the letter? Imply The other guy And scandalize the lion A clean shave in the morning And a full beard with no warning Time has gotten by on alibis and wine Success is so forbidding But it makes me think I'm winning Quiet Dim the lights Adopt another lifestyle You look like David bowie But you've nothing new to show me Start another fire and watch it slowly die
Clap your hands say yeah 2005, from their eponymous debut álbum.
"Underwater (You And Me)" Some songs see us sailing away Navigating foreign borders And climbing the waves Someday your secret will be revealed Am I the one you're thinking of When the sun goes down into the water? We're struck by the still of the moon Hanging up there in the sky as though a balloon Anchored by an astronaut's patriot tune We will buy a ship and fly To the land that would be rediscovered We'll design a clever disguise Or retreat to the bottom of the sea We were destined to live out our lives Underwater you and me We'll escape beneath a violet sky Clouds come And night falls You seem different Oh my my! Upon an endless trail of moonlight They'll never realize that we have gone We have dropped right out of Out of sight We'll design a clever disguise Or retreat to the bo...

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - The Tourist - 2017
Mets-toi tout nu, si t'es un homme.
Histoire de voir où nous en sommes.
Qu'on me donne un primate.
Sans cravate.
Un Zorro.
Sans rien sur le dos...
t'es bien plus beau comme ça.
Un point c'est tout.
Un point c'est toi.
Je t'aime comme ça.
Un point c'est tout.
Un point c'est toi.
Sans artifice.
Où est le vice...
enlève la tenue.
Si t'es un homme.
Qui peut le plus.
Peut le minimum.
Et comme ça.
Tu restes la faiblesse.
De mon for intérieur.
Et moi, maîtresse.
En ta demeure...
t'es bien plus mâle comme ça.
Un point c'est tout.
Un point c'est toi.
Je t'aime comme ça.
Un point c'est tout.
Un point c'est toi.
Sans dessus, ni dessous.
Et puis c'est tout.
Et c'est comme ça...
gageons que tes états sauvages.
Feront moins de ravages.
Que tes plumes de paon.
Quand toi Tarzan.
Moi j'aime.
Quand tu tiens d'Adam.
Moi je tiens à toi.
t'es bien plus beau comme ça.
Un point c'est tout.
Un point c'est toi...
Je t'aime comme ça.
Un point c'est tout.
Un point c'est toi.
Sans rien du tout.
Sans rien que toi.
