Annita McVeigh is a newsreader on the BBC's 24 hour channel BBC News.

McVeigh completed the NUJ National Council for the Training of Journalists Pre-entry course at the Belfast College of Further and Higher Education (BIFHE) 1991-1992

McVeigh started her career as a reporter for BBC Northern Ireland, reporting on both local news stories and various aspects of the troubles,

McVeigh became an occasional presenter for BBC Newsline from the late 1990s. Transferring permanently to BBC News as a reporter in 2002, she became a presenter from summer 2006 on return from maternity leave, replacing Joanna Gosling who moved to the weekday schedule. McVeigh normally presents on Fridays between 7pm and 10pm and between 7pm and 12pm at the weekend, alongside Clive Myrie.

She anchored much of the daytime coverage for the UK Papal visit on the BBC News Channel during September 2010.

McVeigh married BBC manager Martin Read in Tullysarran, County Armagh.

Joanna Marie Mussett Gosling (born 5 January 1971) is a television news presenter, broadcast journalist and author. She presents on the United Kingdom rolling news channel BBC News, as well as occasionally on the Saturday evening and late editions of the BBC Weekend News on BBC One. Having previously worked for Independent Local Radio, Central Television in the Midlands and Sky News she has been with the BBC since 1999. Gosling is a graduate of the University of Birmingham from which she obtained a degree in French, and the University of Grenoble. She is married to Craig Oliver, who is British Prime Minister David Cameron's Head of Communications. Her first book, Simply Wonderwoman – a guide for busy working women with children – was published in 2011.

The oldest of three siblings, Gosling grew up in Buckinghamshire, where she was educated at Aylesbury High School in Aylesbury. She was academic and had a flair for languages, and went on from school to study at the University of Birmingham, from where she has a degree in French. However, after graduating she decided on a career in broadcast journalism. She attended the University of Grenoble in France, and had originally wanted to be a war correspondent.

Wendy Louise Hurrell (born 24 May 1982)^{[citation needed]} is an English television presenter currently working as a weather presenter for BBC London.

Hurrell was born in Norfolk and grew up in Filby near Great Yarmouth. She studied for her degree at Goldsmith's College, London.

She started broadcasting on Broadland 102FM radio station in Norwich.

Hurrell then moved to Anglia Television in 2003 as a production journalist. She moved to the weather team in 2004 to cover for Sara Thornton's maternity leave.

In 2007 she presented the Anglia programme Bygones with Eddie Anderson.

In September 2008 she moved to London to join the BBC, where she now presents the regional weather forecast on BBC Breakfast and BBC London News. She also announces the weather forecast on BBC London 94.9.

Nabila Ramdani is a Paris-born freelance journalist of Algerian descent who specialises in Anglo-French issues, Islamic affairs, and the Arab World.

Ramdani holds an MPhil in International History from the London School of Economics (LSE), and an MPhil in British and American History and Literature from Paris 7 University.

She has an Agrégation (France's highest teaching qualification) in English and has held teaching positions at Oxford University (Jesus and Oriel Colleges), the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and Paris 7 University.

Ramdani began her career in journalism covering the 2007 French presidential elections for a number of UK newspapers, and working as a commentator for BBC TV and radio. She writes regular columns for The Guardian, London Evening Standard, and the New Statesman.

She also produces features and news stories for a wide range of other British publications, including The Daily Telegraph,The Sunday Telegraph, Daily Mail,Mail on Sunday, and The Sunday Times. Nabila’s work also appears in Middle Eastern newspapers including The National,Gulf News and Daily News Egypt, and she has contributed to the French publications Le Parisien, Marianne, L'Express, Le Monde, and Le Figaro. Ramdani's articles are syndicated worldwide.

Kimberley Jane Walsh (born 20 November 1981) is an English singer-songwriter, dancer, model, television presenter and actress. She is best known for being a member of girl group Girls Aloud, formed through ITV's reality television programme Popstars: The Rivals. The group has achieved twenty consecutive top ten singles (including four number ones) in the UK, five studio albums have all been certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), two of which went to number one in the UK, and accumulating a total of five BRIT Award nominations.

Walsh fronts the 2009 Autumn/Winter collection for the fashion chain New Look. In July 2010, Walsh became a presenter on music talk-show, Suck My Pop. Walsh's net worth was estimated at £6 million in April 2012.

Walsh was born in Bradford to Diane and John Walsh. She grew up with elder sister Sally, younger brother Adam and younger sister Amy in the suburb of Allerton. Sally appeared on the soap opera, Emmerdale, between 1997 and 2000, playing the role of Lyn Hutchinson.
