WGN America (formerly known as "Superstation WGN" and "WGN Superstation") is a Chicago-based American feed of WGN-TV, owned by Tribune Broadcasting. WGN America offers its national programming across North America without the CW network programming and most syndicated programs that are carried on the Chicago area feed. WGN America is still not available on most cable systems in the New England region of the United States, including certain parts of the New York metropolitan area.

WGN America is available in the United States on most cable providers, via satellite to DirecTV and Dish Network subscribers, and to subscribers of AT&T U-verse (outside of the Chicago area) and Verizon FiOS; it is also carried on some smaller Canadian cable companies, although most Canadian viewers which previously received the superstation feed now receive the WGN-TV Chicago feed. In the Chicago market, WGN America is not available on over-the-air digital television or cable, but is available on DirecTV and Dish Network. Most American cable and IPTV providers carry WGN America on a "limited basic" programming tier (which also includes local broadcast stations and public, educational, and government access (PEG) cable channels).

Brannon Braga (born August 14, 1965) is an American television producer and screenwriter, currently working as showrunner and executive producer on Terra Nova. Braga is probably best known for his work with the Star Trek franchise, having worked on three of the four modern Star Trek television series since 1990 and two of the Star Trek feature films, as well as being co-creator and an executive producer of Star Trek: Enterprise. In fact, he has more writing credits than anyone else associated with the franchise. He was also creator and producer of the short-lived alien invasion drama Threshold. Braga received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Kent State University Stark in 2005.

In 1990, Braga received an eight-week internship from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, joining the writing team of Star Trek: The Next Generation. His first assignment was rewriting a script called "Reunion" with staff writer Ronald D. Moore, then doing a solo rewrite on a spec script titled "Identity Crisis". This led to a staff position in 1991 as a script-writer, resulting in credits for a number of popular episodes including "Cause and Effect", "Frame of Mind" and "Parallels".

Katrina Bowden (born September 19, 1988) is an American actress. She is perhaps best known for her roles on 30 Rock and American Reunion.

Bowden was born in Wyckoff, New Jersey. She attended the now-defunct Saint Thomas More School in Midland Park, New Jersey, for her grammar and middle school education. She later attended Immaculate Heart Academy in Township of Washington, Bergen County, New Jersey.

On January 28th, 2012, Bowden got engaged to her boyfriend of nearly two years, musician Ben Jorgensen.

In 2006 Katrina scored her first Acting role in a two-episode arc on the ABC long-time running daytime soap opera television series One Life to Live as Britney. Katrina has since guest starred on shows such as Law & Order: SVU, Ugly Betty and most recently on the FOX Comedy series New Girl. In May 2006 Katrina was cast as a recurring role on the Emmy Award winning Comedy television series 30 Rock which premiered on October 11, 2006 on NBC. Katrina portrays the role of a sexy and laid back assistant Cerie and also stars Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan. Katrina signed on as a regular for the shows second season in 2007 and is considered to be Katrina's breakout role. The series most recent sixth season premiered on January 12, 2012. Katrina also appeared in "Dance, Dance" a music video from American rock band Fall Out Boy.

Matthew Szczur (pronounced Caesar, born July 20, 1989) is an American professional baseball center fielder in the Chicago Cubs' farm system. He played college football and baseball at Villanova University prior to signing a professional contract with the Cubs in January 2011.

Szczur was born in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, and grew up in Erma, New Jersey, He attended Lower Cape May Regional High School, where he earned varsity letters in football, baseball, and track and field. Szczur was drafted in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft out of high school by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 38th round, but decided to attend Villanova University instead.

Szczur played wide receiver and special teams for the Wildcats football team. He also played center field for the baseball team. He gained 270 all-purpose yards and scored two touchdowns in a winning effort in the 2009 FCS National Championship.

Szczur signed a contract with the Chicago Cubs organization, which drafted him in the fifth-round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft. He received a $100,000 signing bonus, with an additional $500,000 if he declined to attend the NFL combine and made a written commitment to baseball before February 10, 2011. He was assigned to the club's short season Class-A team, the Boise Hawks, and first appeared in uniform July 8, 2010. He was then promoted to the club's mid-A team, the Peoria Chiefs on July 27, 2010. He hit .347 in 25 games in 2010.
