My dear friends, today you are going to learn something really useful in real life. I will show you how you can cook a very tasty Indian Dish in 10 minutes without spices. Are you excited huh ? I am sure , if you are lazy person in kitchen like me, you will love it. For bachelors and student who have less time, this is one of the fastest Indian dish you can prepare. I personal cook this food so often. Because, its tasty, healthy, nutritious and fast in cooking. So, you are going to learn to cook a North Indian dish, from state of Bihar - Khichdi (खिचड़ी) & Aaloo Chokha (आलू चोखा ). I am going to teach you to cook both of them together not one after another. If you do together it will be faster with less use of energy(gas). Ingredients Required 1. 3 Potatoes 2. 1 Onion 3. 1 Small Bowl of Rice 4. 1 Small Bowl of Lentil (Any or Mixed) 5. 4-5 Chilli 6. 10-12 Garlic Piece 7. Half Spoon Turmeric Powder 8. 1 spoon of Cumin seeds 9. Salt According to Your Taste 10. Cooking oil 2-3 tbs 11. 1 Tomato Recipes of Cooking 1. Put the bowl of rice and lentil in a pressure cooker. And clean it in pure water for 2 times. 2. Put the 5 full bowl of water in which you had kept the rice. 3. Put the pressure cooker without covering into stove in medium flame. 4. When the pressure cooker in on heat, quickly chop the tomato and put into the cooker 5. Same time peel the potato and clean it in water and make it half to all 3 potatoes and put into the pressure cooker. 6. Now close the pressure cooker with its cover and keep the flame medium and wait for two whistle. 7. While you are waiting for whistle , you peel the onion and chop into small pieces, after that chop the chilly in small small pieces 8. Peel the garlic and chop into very small pieces. .....................Waiting for Whistle ......... 9. When it whistle 2 times turn of the the heat. And do other if you are left with any thing. 10. Wait a minute and take out all the vapors from the pressure cooker. Avoid doing so right after turning off the gas, doing so will result water coming from the whistle. 11. Once the all vapors comes out, take out all the boiled potatoes, only potatoes and put it in a bigger bowl. 12. Add the onion pieces. 13. Now, wash the big curvy spoon( karchul करछुल) and warm it in very low heat. 14. Put cooking oil in the karchul and wait for 20- 30 sec ,and drop a seed of cumin, is it getting fried, if yes, drop all cumin seeds, followed by chiily and garlic pieces. 15. Heat them till they get brown. Once they get brown half of the material put on potato-onion bowl and half in the pressure cooker with khichdi. 16. Mix the material well with khichdi. 17. And now add little bit salt according to your taste on potato bowl and crush them well and mix it well , make like potato dough. 18. Add the lemon juice and again mix it. ....................Food is Ready to Serve .................... Cooks from ten Mexican states and six Latin American countries have taken part in an annual food festival in Mexico City. The "Tamale" festival features a Mexican dish by the same name that consists of a corn-based dough, stuffed with various fillings. It is cooked in a banana or corn leaf wrapper. There are over 370 varieties of tamales in Mexico, plenty of which could be sampled here in the festival. The event runs until February the second. PRAWN BIRIYANI: Procedure: Wash Rice finely and rinse the water. Add salt with it. Take water in a sauce Pan and pour the rice when it comes to boil. Add two-three drops of oil in it. cook it until the rice puffed a little. Rains excess water. Now boil Carrot, Beans pieces for 5 min. In a pan fry capsicum, boiled carrot and beans separately. Wash medium sized prawn and mix with salt and turmeric powder and fry it until become brown. Cut 3-4 potatoes into halves and deep fry it. Now in a Pan fry Chopped Onion, Ginger, Garlic and Chili. Add the fried Potatoes and prawn in it, add some water and cook for 10-12 min. In large Kadai fry some Kaju(Cashew nut) and raisin(Kismis), add Garam Masala. Now add rice and mix fried vegetables with it. Cook it for 4-5 mins. After that add prawn curry with the rice and mix it well. When the mixing was complete give Biriyani masala for better flavor. How to Cook Laing Recipe (Bicolano Dish) Similar to Bicol Express Filipino Recipe
http://www.filipino-recipes-lutong-pinoy.com - Laing is a viand that refers to the taro leaves cooked in coconut milk or what we call here in the Philippines as ginataan. Cooking different individual vegetables in coconut milk is a common for Filipinos but the one we called laing is the most exceptional and of course my specialty too. Exceptional in a way that there is no dish prepared and cooked the same way as laing, the pride of all Bicolanos, the smooth taste and the tang from the ginger that makes a lot of people crave for it. A dish that not only serves in homes but in restaurants as well, laing is in demand here and abroad. But, why is it so special? The reason because it uses taro leaves and stems, so what's the big deal. Taro leaves are at the same both easy and hard to cook. First is how to make it chewy but not mushy. Raw taro leaves and stems get mushy easily when boiled so some people without proper knowledge cooked them as is but cut the stems in about 3 inches long and the leaves in big sizes, they do it so that when it gets mushy some kind of form will retain. The second is the itchiness in the mouth. I've witness many discussions where people tried finding out a solution for the itchiness. Some say sun drying the leaves remove itchiness, some say it doesn't. Some say not stirring when cooking removes itchiness and some say it doesn't. I think it's one of the seven wonders of laing, I sun dried, I stir a lot but no trace of itchiness is found in my cooking. Now cooking laing has developed many versions particularly sautéing and adding pork, garlic and onions. But my authentic recipe from Bicol is far different and simpler from that but taste the best. Boiling coconut milk first with some crushed ginger, the main attraction of laing is its strong gingery taste. Add the taro leaves, stir, add the dried surgeonfish (daing na labahita), season with salt and cooked for 40 to 60 minutes until its tender. Then it's done, I always cooked this and get praised by the Bicolano I know, he said that nothing beats the original laing he had known since he was a child from his far hometown.
