Sports Director Matthew Wilson and overall winner Simon Clarke quickly wrap the week at the 2014 Jayco Herald Sun Tour. Simon Clarke claimed the overall victory in unusual circumstances after the final Queen stage of the five day tour was cancelled due to extreme fire danger in the region. With his stage win in Bendigo on Thursday, Clarke had built up a lead of 8" over Cameron Wurf (Cannondale) in second place and a comfortable 1'22 advantage over the riders thought to be general classification contenders. All classification results earned following yesterday's stage three became the final overall results.

The Herald Sun is a morning tabloid newspaper based in Melbourne, Australia. It is published by The Herald and Weekly Times, a subsidiary of News Limited, itself a subsidiary of News Corporation. It is available for purchase throughout Melbourne, Regional Victoria, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory and border regions of South Australia and Southern New South Wales. The Herald Sun primarily serves Victoria and shares many articles with other News Corporation paid daily newspapers, especially those from Australia.

The Herald Sun is the highest-circulating daily newspaper in Australia, with a weekday circulation of 515,000 and readership of 1,500,000.

The Herald Sun newspaper was formed in 1990 from a merger of the morning tabloid paper The Sun News-Pictorial with its afternoon broadsheet sister paper The Herald. It was first published on 8 October 1990 as the Herald-Sun. The hyphen in its title was later dropped; the last hyphenated masthead appeared on 1 May 1993. The paper had in March 2009 a circulation of 530,000 from Monday to Friday.

Listen to Delta Goodrem interviews

Delta Lea Goodrem (born 9 November 1984) is an Australian singer-songwriter and pianist. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, she enrolled in dancing, acting, singing and piano classes at a young age. She began her career as a child actress, starring in various television shows and rose to prominence in 2002 in the Australian soap opera Neighbours as Nina Tucker.

Venturing into the music industry, Goodrem recorded an album entitled Delta through an independent label, which was never released due to legal reasons. Subsequently signing to Sony at the age of 15, she released her multi-platinum album Innocent Eyes which topped the Australian albums chart and UK Albums Chart. It became one of the highest selling albums in Australian history, with 4.5 million copies sold worldwide and all five of its singles— "Born to Try", "Lost Without You", "Innocent Eyes", "Not Me, Not I", and "Predictable"—reaching number one in Australia and three of them reaching the top ten in the UK. This gave her the record for becoming the first ever artist to have five Number 1 singles from a debut album.
