They say he was a spoiled and rotten kid because his parents had some money.
They looked down on everything he did and said he acted kind of funny.
They say he was confused and mentally abused just because he was a rich kid.
All the kids in class always kicked his ass and looked down on everything that he did.
When he is old he will own the world.
When he grew up he got what he deserved.
He was a rich boy.
Brace yourself wont you mister.
Rich boy got a little sister.
She was spoiled and self-centered girl, with daddy's money in daddy's world.
He called her sweetheart, he called her honey and then showered her with gifts and money.
Still she's a problem child she always been too wild she always hang out with the riff raff.
She was always sad, down, depressed and mad and you would never see her laugh.
When she is old she will own the world.
When she grew up she got what she deserved.
She was a rich girl.
Listen up now wont you mother.
Must have heard the same song twenty times.
Mama sang and put the make up on her eyes.
We were getting ready to go.
School and the work whistle blow.
Everybody had to rush, rush, rush around.
Rush, rush, rush around.
I remember thinking this just can't be right.
Got to be a better way to live you life.
Slow like a soft Southern breeze.
Nobody take time to breathe.
Everybody had to rush, rush, rush around.
Rush, rush, rush around.
Ooo what you do, I dreamt of you yesterday.
Ooo what you do, you come to me then fade away.
Sometimes a memory is hard to bear.
Don't know how a thing so old could still be there.
When I fell the rain in my soul.
I give it up and I go.
Everybody had to rush, rush, rush around.
She glows around you like the moon
she smiles at her reflection in a spoon
she reads expensive magazines
she sees herself in everything
you can't judge her for that
she knows where her head is at
She's tangled up in you
she's laced up in your shoe
she's got a ladder to the sky
she's got a mad look in her eye
you can't judge her for that
she knows where her head is at
She moves in simple curves
she speakes in simple words
& it's simple to be in love with her
you can't judge her for that
she knows where her head is at
You call her home
& you want to move in
but a house is not a home & a home
is not a house when there's not enough
room for you
