1080p HD! My second flight on G-MONS in the last 3 months! Another great flight, really good legroom in those seats up front! Not the greatest day for flying as seen in the video, but it makes it more exciting for me in the wet conditions, creates a very dramatic feel seeing all the water & spray! Weather had been fine in Faro until about an hour before boarding & then it started hammering down. The weather wasn't much better in Gatwick with some fantastic reverse thrust spray. Also a huge thanks for the captain & first officer for letting us have a little look around in this old birds flight deck, managed to get a few short clips which I've added at the end, felt very privileged to get in their just 3 weeks before she retires in the first week of November. By the sound of the captains announcement I think they were anticipating worse turbulence than we actually got, in fact the flight was extremely smooth & the seat belt signs were'nt put back on once until landing.
