Akkadian Maqlû ("burning"), broadcast by alien entities from inside Tibet, 1962?
This is another recording from the same source as the supposed 'Dropa' broadcast http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4YPGKlKC98 This one is again alleged to have been transmitted from somewhere in the Kham region of Tibet, the broadcast picked up at a Soviet listening station located near Semipalatinsk in May 1962. We make no claims as to the authenticity of the recording, noting only that the language spoken resembles (as does the 'Dropas' transmission) the Ancient Near East Akkadian language, with some (presumably deliberate) archaic Sumerian elements. The speaker is reciting part of the Maqlû ("burning") exorcism series, incantations against malevolent witchcraft. We have added a partial translation (below). What this has to do with the alleged 'Dropa' extraterrestrial landing in China/Tibet 10,000 years ago, we have yet to ascertain. Faces of Ancient Middle East Part 2 (Ancient Semites)
Faces of Ancient Middle East Part 2 (Ancient Semites)
The Akkadian Empire was an ancient Semitic empire centered in the city of Akkad and its surrounding region in ancient Mesopotamia which united all the indigenous Akkadian speaking Semites and the Sumerian speakers under one rule within a multilingual empire. During the 3rd millennium BC, there developed a very intimate cultural symbiosis between the Sumerians and the Semitic Akkadians, which included widespread bilingualism.Akkadian gradually replaced Sumerian as a spoken language somewhere around the turn of the 3rd and the 2nd millennium BC (the exact dating being a matter of debate). The Akkadian Empire reached its political peak between the 24th and 22nd centuries BC, following the conquests by its founder Sargon of Akkad (2334--2279 BC). Under Sargon and his successors, Akkadian language was briefly imposed on neighboring conquered states such as Elam. Akkad is sometimes regarded as the first empire in history, though there are earlier Sumerian claimants. After the fall of the Akkadian Empire, the Akkadian people of Mesopotamia eventually coalesced into two major Akkadian speaking nations; Assyria in the north, and a few centuries later, Babylonia in the south. --------------------------------------------------------- Babylonia was an ancient Akkadian-speaking Semitic nation state and cultural region based in central-southern Mesopotamia (present-day Iraq). It emerged as an independent state c. 1894 BC, with the city of Babylon as its capital. It was often involved in rivalry with its fellow Akkadian state of Assyria in northern Mesopotamia. Babylonia became the major power in the region after Hammurabi (fl. c. 1792 - 1752 BC middle chronology, or c. 1696 -- 1654 BC, short chronology) created an empire out of many of the territories of the former Akkadian Empire. ----------------------------------------------------------- Amorite (Sumerian MAR.TU, Akkadian Tidnum or Amurrūm, Egyptian Amar, Hebrew אמורי ʼĔmōrī, Ancient Greek Αμορίτες) refers to an ancient Semitic-speaking people from ancient Syria who also occupied large parts of Mesopotamia from the 21st Century BC. The term Amurru in Akkadian and Sumerian texts refers to them, as well as to their principal deity. ------------------------------------------------------------- Chaldeans — appeared in southern Mesopotamia & Bahrain (historical region) circa 1000 BC and eventually disappeared into the general Babylonian population.- published: 17 Dec 2013

Warn Radio welcomes Guest Michael S. Heiser Phd to the show this friday night. Mike and the Watchman discuss end time delusions, the anti-christ, tribulation, and more. Todays show on the heralded "Mayan Apocalypse" brings to light many types of delusions and also the church whose own expectations can lead them into delusion. This is an important show which will waken up your spiritual and biblical senses to the unseen reality which is seen today.

Mike Heiser is working on his sequal to the Facade which brings to the table the delusion and how the enemy can bring it in to deceive many. “Let's get the academic stuff out of the way first. I have an M.A. and Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Semitic Languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My dissertation was entitled, “The Divine Council in Late Canonical and Non-Canonical Second Temple Jewish Literature” (English translation: the dissertation dealt with the presence of a pantheon in the Hebrew Bible and the binitarian nature of ancient Israelite religion and Judaism, a backdrop for the the belief in the deity of Christ in the New Testament). Before going to the UW-Madison, I also earned an M.A. in Ancient History from the University of Pennsylvania (major fields, Ancient Syria-Palestine and Egyptology). I can do translation work in roughly a dozen ancient languages, among them Biblical Hebrew, Biblical Greek, Aramaic, Syriac, Egyptian hieroglyphs, Phoenician, Moabite, Ugaritic cuneiform, and Klingon (just kidding there). I have also studied Akkadian and Sumerian independently. All that but I have difficulty understanding my wife (she'd vouch for that). Mike Heiser http://www.michaelsheiser.com/

One of the few scholars able to read and interpret ancient Sumerian and Akkadian clay tablets, Zecharia Sitchin (1920-2010) based his bestselling The 12th Planet on texts from the ancient civilizations of the Near East. Drawing both widespread interest and criticism, his controversial theories on the Anunnaki origins of humanity have been translated into more than 20 languages and featured on radio and television programs around the world.

Some Herd of Noons
The concept of timbre has been used since ancestral times as a listening for, as well as a listening through. A ‘listening activity’ that in Sumerian times was synonym with ‘reading’ for Sumerian and Akkadian languages have no word for ‘reading’. Still today we may use the colloquial form Do you read me? to express a ‘listening’ for a kind of vibrating quality of the perception of the sense (direction); that is, sentir, to feel, to hear or understand.
The origins of the word timbre approximate to the skin resonance of language: the skin surface of a percussion instrument that talks through the deployment of its resonance. The term stems from the Greek tympanon, that is tambourine or timpani (kettledrums) and, before that, from the Semitic top, tuppim, also meaning tambourine. It can also be associated with the sistrum, an ancient musical instrument that has small rings or loops of thin metal which merged with the tambourine (the name derives from the Greek verb σείω, seio, to shake; its name in the ancient Egyptian language was sekhem (sḫm), one of the 7 souls, meaning force. The word timbre entered English with different meanings at several different times from the Old French. The French etymology of the word also seems to be associated to a drum in 1170. It was first used in English in the 12th century to mean a type of kettledrum (translating the biblical Latin 'tympanum'), and later also to mean a tambourine and various types of bells (14th century). Various other derivative meanings developed in the Middle Ages including a helmet or skull cap, a heraldic crest and an official seal.
The modern meaning apparently arose only in the 19th century, first meaning 'sound of a bell', then 'sonorous quality of any instrument or of a voice', and finally (1853) ‘character or quality’ of a sound, which is equivalent to the German Klangfarbe (tone colour), essentially its current meaning, which associates the concept of vibration (ear-drum) with that of colour and texture. Helmholtz used the German Klangfarbe (tone colour), and Tyndall proposed an English translation, clangtint. The French term timbre identifies the object that actually creates the sound, the German term klangfarben is more abstract and detaches the sound from any source.
