Plot
Octavius Caesar (later renamed Augustus Caesar, son of the murdered Julius Caesar), Marc Antony, and Lepidus form the triumvirate, the three rulers of the Roman Empire. Antony, though married to Fulvia, spends his time in Egypt, living a life of decadence and conducting an affair with Queen Cleopatra. In Antony's absence, Caesar and Lepidus worry about Pompey's increasing strength. Caesar condemns Antony for neglecting his duties as a statesman and military officer. Hearing that his wife, Fulvia, has died and that Pompey is raising an army to rebel against the triumvirate, Antony feels he must return to Rome. Caesar and Antony try to patch up their quarrel through the marriage of Antony to Caesar's sister Octavia. In Egypt, Cleopatra is told that Antony has married and is furious with jealousy. However, when the messenger says that Octavia is not very beautiful, Cleopatra feels confident that she can win Antony back. The triumvirs meet Pompey, who agrees to keep peace in exchange for control of Sicily and Sardinia. When Antony and Octavia leave for Athens, Caesar breaks his truce, wages war against Pompey, and defeats him. After using Lepidus's army to secure a victory, he imprisons Lepidus. Antony learns this with anger; Octavia pleads him to stay friends with her brother. Antony sends her to Rome, then returns to Cleopatra. In Egypt he raises an army to fight Caesar. Antony decides to fight him at sea, although Caesar has the better navy; and he allows Cleopatra to command a ship, ignoring the protests of Enobarbus, his best friend. Enobarbus deserts him and joins Caesar's army, but then in remorse kills himself. Antony's forces lose the battle when Cleopatra's ship flees and Antony's follows, leaving the rest of the fleet vulnerable to attack. Antony swears he will kill Cleopatra, so she sends word that she has committed suicide. Full of grief, Antony commands his attendant to kill him, but the man kills himself instead. Antony then falls on his own sword. Caesar takes Cleopatra prisoner, planning to display her in Rome as a trophy, but she kills herself with the help of several poisonous asps. Caesar has the two lovers buried beside each other.

Plot

Eros (/ˈɪərɒs/, US: /ˈɛrɒs/; Ancient Greek: Ἔρως, "Desire"), in Greek mythology, was the Greek god of love. His Roman counterpart was Cupid ("desire"). Some myths make him a primordial god, while in other myths, he is the son of Aphrodite.
The Shaftesbury Memorial in Piccadilly Circus, London, is popularly mistaken for Eros. In fact it represents Anteros.
Eros appears in ancient Greek sources under several different guises. In the earliest sources (the cosmogonies, the earliest philosophers, and the mysteries), he is one of the primordial gods involved in the coming into being of the cosmos. But in later sources, Eros is represented as the son of Aphrodite whose mischievous interventions in the affairs of gods and mortals cause bonds of love to form, often illicitly. Ultimately, in the later satirical poets, he is represented as a blindfolded child, the precursor to the chubby Renaissance cupid – whereas in early Greek poetry and art, Eros was depicted as an adult male who embodies sexual power.

Ramazzotti is enormously popular in Italy, and is well known in most non-English-speaking European countries and in the Spanish-speaking world, as he has released most of his albums in both Italian and Spanish.
Since 1984, he has released 11 studio albums, one EP, three compilation albums, three live albums, and 37 singles. Ramazzotti has sold over 40 million records in his 25-year career. Ramazzotti first gained international success in 1993, with the release of Tutte storie, which amassed six million album sales and occupied the top five in every country where he had previously released albums. This success led to a BMG International record contract in 1994. His audience appeal comes from several factors, including his unique voice, which can be described as somewhat nasal but nevertheless forceful and resonant, and his energetic delivery of catchy, melodic tunes which are often passionate mid-tempo autobiographical ballads, with instrumentation that is rich in soft-rock influence. Most of his albums have been recorded in both Italian and Spanish.

Eros prays we build our house upon him.
Sees how well it stands, how long we last
Built upon the sand, on the idol Eros.
So when he's gone can I do what Eros does?
What he does for us, he does for us.
And when he's gone can it be the way it was?
Bring him back to us. Is he all we've got
Our house built upon? On the idol Eros?
When our haven wavers in the wind
And walls all beg to be abandoned,
Blame the idol Eros.
When the raven calls and all his melodies
All long to be forgotten,
Blame the idol Eros.
What's left to say but I loved the way it was?
..Cause I said I would, I've done all I could.
See what he's done to us?
Oh the idol Eros.
When our haven wavers in the wind
And walls all beg to be abandoned,
When the raven calls and all his melodies
All long to be forgotten,
When i find myself in times of trouble
Mother mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.
And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.
And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise.
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free.
Blackbird fly blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.
Blackbird fly blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
“Thrill thy senses from this magnificent tree we dost
gladly shareth
Lest true bliss engulf thou, on a lustful dream we
ensnareth”
Somehow mesmerized by this fruit it gifted, I foolishly
stepped…
Unaware sacrifice! Blind I took the eternal debt
"Walk forth to attain satisfaction! A bite shall provide
no harm
Thou might prosper among the withering swarm!!!”
Had these eloquent voices, cast towards mine flesh
Something warm, that drew me close, granting this self
what it lacked!
“So pleasurable, irresistibly appealing
How alluring, so enticing… is it not?
You don't have to hide
You don't need to be scared
I know you're somewhere close tonight
I can feel you in the air
I swear it's safe where I go
So when you see me, you should follow me forever
Remember the night we met?
You kissed me on the cheek and I held your hand
But time was against us
Hurry up, let's spark this harder life
You said to me:
"Do you know who I am?"
"Of course I know who you are."
"How can you be so sure?"
"It's easy, believe me, I know.
I just know it, I know it, I know.
Music's told me all I need is you."
Forget everything you learned
I'll lead you to safety, just follow me forever
"Why did you come for me?"
"Not now, get up and run, here comes the enemy."
My news ears are timeless, they taught me how to stand and fight!
So come with me!"
"Do you know who I am?"
"Of course I know who you are."
"How can you be so sure?"
"It's easy, believe me, I know."
We'll be together in time
But time was always against us
"Do you know who I am?"
"Of course I know who you are."
"How can you be so sure?"
"It's easy, believe me, I know."
Remember back when we were kids
Don't say a word, 'cause if you do they'll be after you
Picture a world where no child is left behind
Invisible but you can see it
Take the stairs and turn around
Down, down, down
Waiting for days and days, in leave I stayed, it's like
This is where my story began, this is where it ends
Take to the sky, take to the streets
You've got mine and I've got your back
My heart is yours but time was always against us
My heart is yours but time was always against us
My heart is yours but time was always against us
My heart is yours but time was always against us
My heart is yours but time was always against
My heart is yours
My heart is yours but time was always
