Living Black is a current affairs programme from SBS One, Australia, addressed primarily to the interests of Australia's indigenous community. Karla Grant has been executive producer of this program which she has developed since 2002. She has also been fronting the show since 2004.

During 2010 the show airs on Sundays at 4:30pm, with one or two repeats during daytime programming during the week on SBS Two.

Greg Inglis (born 15 January 1987 in Kempsey, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the South Sydney Rabbitohs of the NRL. A Queensland State of Origin and Australian international representative outside back, he previously played for the Melbourne Storm, with whom he won two grand finals, a Clive Churchill Medal and a Golden Boot Award.

Inglis is a versatile back, having played in several positions during his career. He originally played on the wing or in the centres. He even played at fullback when Billy Slater was unavailable. Between 2007 and early 2009 he played at five-eighth for the Melbourne Storm before he switched to centre when Brett Finch arrived at the Storm, where he played for the remainder of his time at the club until the end of 2010. Inglis' representative matches for Queensland and Australia have been as a winger or centre. In November 2009, Inglis won the Golden Boot Award as the world's best player – presented to him by Rugby League World magazine, becoming the third consecutive Storm player to win it, after Cameron Smith (2007) and Billy Slater (2008). His cousins are Albert Kelly of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks,Beau Champion of the Gold Coast Titans and former player Preston Campbell.

Kurtley Beale (born 6 January 1989) is an Australian representative rugby union player of Aboriginal descent. His primary position is fullback.

Beale signed with the Waratahs while still only a 16-year-old at St Joseph's College, Hunters Hill. Before leaving school, Beale captained the Australian Schoolboys and regularly attended training sessions with the NSW Waratahs from the age of 15. At 17, he attended his first Wallabies training camp, on the invitation of coach John Connolly.

Western Sydney Rams

Beale initiated the inaugural season of the Australian Rugby Championship by starting five-eighth for the Rams in every game. Beale was one of the season's leading try scorers and try-assists in the competition. The Rams went on to become minor premiers in 2007 thanks to the contribution of Beale and other established rugby talents such as Tatafu Polota-Nau, Chris Siale and rising star Lachlan Turner. Beale was awarded player of the tournament (2007) in the ARC.

New South Wales & Waratahs

Beale made his Senior NSW debut against ACT in January 2007 in a trial game in Wollongong. He scored the first of his many memorable tries by chipping around the winger and outpacing the fullback to score after coming on from the bench. The game was one by NSW 12–0. Two weeks later, after again coming off the bench, Beale made a late break to assist in the winning try against the Crusaders. Coach Ewen McKenzie had stated that Beale would not be rushed into the starting line up and would instead play second fiddle in his debut year behind Daniel Halangahu. However, it was no more than two weeks later that he made his starting debut against the Sharks at ABSA stadium, South Africa, only to lose 22–9. The following week in only his second start as fly-half, Beale scored one of the most memorable tries of the season by chipping over the first line of defence and stealing the ball out of the fullback's hands to score his first five-pointer in Super 14.^{[citation needed]}

Kyah Pam Simon (born 25 June 1991) is an Australian female football (soccer) striker. She currently plays for Boston Breakers in the WPS. She previously played for Central Coast Mariners and Sydney FC in the Australian W-League.

Kyah made her debut against Melbourne Victory on Saturday, 25 October 2008. Kyah then made her scoring debut in Round 3 against Canberra United, scoring a double to assist the Mariners to a 2-1 win away from home.

Simon joined Sydney FC for the 2009 W-League Season, playing in the first round against former club the Central Coast Mariners.

She was the top scorer in the 2010/11 W League, with 11 goals in 12 games. She also won The Player of the Year, the Young Player of the year award and the Players Player of the year award.

In June 2011, Simon was on the cover of the Australian FourFourTwo Magazine along with fellow Matilda's Melissa Barbieri, Sam Kerr, Thea Slatyer and Sarah Walsh.

She appeared at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, where she scored both Australia's goals in a 2-1 win over Norway to ensure qualification for the quarter finals. Simon is the first Aboriginal to score at a World Cup Finals.
