I finally got around to making an updated resin tutorial! Sorry for the bad lighting, long video, random waffling while recording the voice over etc xD OPEN FOR FAQ AND LINKS FAQ (I'll be adding to this) Q: Where do you get resin and what resin do you use? A: I bought mine from Amazon, I use the one gallon version of Easy Cast epoxy resin, though I suggest a smaller size for beginners as it's expensive xD You can also get it from ebay. I've only ever used Easy Cast resin, but I've heard Envirotex lite is also good, just try out different types until you find one you like Q: Where do you get your stickers? A: Please be more specific, I buy from LOTS of places, and have made haul videos of most of the places that I have bought from. Also etsy and ebay are great places for stickers. Most of my silicone cupcake moulds were either bought locally from craft/baking shops, or from ebay. You can get moulds from etsy and storenvy too, just search for them! Q: Where do you get glitter/what glitter can you use? A: I get my glitter from ebay and craft shops, you can literally use any glitter you have, like ANY GLITTER WILL WORK. Fine glitter will colour your resin more than chunky glitter, but chunky or tinsel glitter will be sparklier, but it's all about experimenting with what you can get. The confetti sprinkles are nail art supplies from ebay. Q: What ink do you use? Can you use paint/pastels etc? A: I use Higgins white waterproof ink bought from ebay, Tattooed Krissy's video on this ink is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8DceovO8Ig You can use paint but only use a tiny amount, though I've never used it before so I have no tips for it. You can also use pastels or pigment powders from craft shops or ebay or wherever, just make sure to not add too much, and mix it in well. Q: Do you sell your pieces? A: Make sure you mix your resin FULLY so it's completely clear and there's no strings or lines when you stir it, I usually mix for around 10 minutes.
