This is a CBC Fifth-Estate look-back at 1976 when "Liberal" leader Robert Bourassa lost the November 15th Quebec provincial election to "Separatist" René Lévesque and the Parti Québécois. The CBC's Eric Malling meets Bourassa three years later in 1979 to discuss Bourassa' 1976 "defeat". Malling reveals that upon losing to Lévesque, Bourassa went "immediately" to Brussels to study "every detail" of the European Union. Says Malling, the EU is Bourassa's choice "for Canada". However, if we take a good close look at René Lévesque, he, too, wanted the EU for Canada. Or, more precisely, he wanted whatever the unknown system is that is still "developing" in Europe. When Lévesque began to pursue it, it was called the European Economic Community (EEC). Years later, by the time of the first (illegal) referendum in Québec to "secede", the EEC had already become the EU, with a "parliament". But Lévesque could hardly now switch tack and demand this new system, which had begun to resemble "Canadian federalism" without some embarrassment. Apparently, on almost the night before the 1980 referendum, Lévesque's old pal Trudeau tried to come to the rescue by offering Quebec a "compromise": a Common Market with a "common parliament" -- just like the EU. Today, the EU has absorbed almost 100% of the legislative powers of the United Kingdom, and its many other member states. The EU is being rapidly transformed into a highly centralized "post-democratic," Marxist regional union. At the same time, traditional western Europe is being eradicated by mass third-world immigration. This is exactly what is happening to Canada; except that the "regional union" is being accomplished on the basis of the "terror" of 9/11 -- added to (1) the Auto Pact; (2) Canada-US Free Trade Agreement; and (3) NAFTA, to name three big milestones. All that remains is for PAULINE MAROIS (married to Big Oil) to call a third and final referendum to "secede" -- but Quebec is not seceding. The ballot has always sought a "mandate to negotiate". This so-called "mandate" would be a pretext for those detaining Canada's federal government to destroy Canada for their corporate masters, and declare the Provinces "sovereign". The Provinces, having thus acquired the full powers of the Canadian Parliament, would hand them over to a new supranational continental parliament.... the model for which was launched in 2005 in the Canadian Senate. It is important to notice that in the same year of 2005, Pierre-Marc Johnson -- who succeeded René Lévesque as a "separatist" Premier of Quebec -- SIGNED the "Building A North American Community" plan authored by BIG BUSINESS (the Canadian Council of Chief Executives) and published by the Marxist COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS (CFR) in the USA. Quebec is not seceding. It's being used by those detaining our federal government to destroy Canada for BIG BUSINESS. The result will be a regional union under a one-world government -- as soon as Big Business and its allies manage to bomb the Middle East into submission, the way they destroyed Yugoslavia for the same objective: attachment to the EU regional union. All our so-called "political" parties are involved. "Liberal" Bourassa, himself, back in office in 1990, caused a Quebec "law" to be passed scheduling a "referendum to secede" by a deadline. He later caused another "law" to be passed converting the "secession" referendum into a vote on the Charlottetown Accord -- which unknown to Canadians, was just another tool for getting international state recognition for "secession" -- to hide the fact that Parliament is being overthrown by Canada's federal government, controlled by Business. - 30 -
