Peter Mann's job involves maintaining the 53,000 tonnes of metal in our national icon - the worlds largest steel arch bridge.
Mann has been the asset manager on teh Harbour Bridge for the last eight years and is responsible for mnainsns
"There is only one job like this in the world and it's a real privilege," Mann said.
"We're in a harsh environment. It is a constant challenge to keep the rust at bay.
"For me, driving to work under the bridge and looking up, I just think, 'Wow, this is huge'."
