Leisure Suit Larry 5: Passionate Patti Does a Little Undercover Work
Leisure Suit Larry 5: Passionate Patti Does a Little Undercover Work is the fourth entry in the Leisure Suit Larry series of graphical adventure games published by Sierra Entertainment. It is the first title in the series to have 256-color graphics and a fully icon-based interface. The title of the game is misleading, as there is no Leisure Suit Larry 4: The Missing Floppies.
Gameplay
Leisure Suit Larry 5 expands on the multi-character feature of the previous installment, with control periodically passing between Larry and Patti. The overall difficulty is greatly reduced in comparison with past games; neither character can become trapped or die, and losing the game is impossible. Many of the items players collect on their journey are merely optional, and will not affect the game's progress.
Plot
The absence of a "Leisure Suit Larry 4" forms the basis of this newest installment, as Julius Biggs has stolen the 'missing floppies' of the game and caused Larry Laffer to become amnesiac. Larry is now in the adult film industry, working for a Mafia-connected company known as PornProdCorp. His boss sends him across the United States to scout for models to appear in "America's Sexiest Home Videos".

Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards
Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards is a graphic adventure game originally released in 1987 as the first part of the Leisure Suit Larry series. Originally developed for the PC DOS and the Apple II, it was later ported to other platforms such as the Amiga, Atari ST, Apple IIGS, Apple Macintosh, and the Tandy Color Computer 3. It utilizes the Adventure Game Interpreter (AGI) engine made famous by King's Quest: Quest for the Crown.
The game's story follows a middle-aged male virgin named Larry Laffer as he desperately tries to "get lucky" in the fictional American city of Lost Wages. Land of the Lounge Lizards establishes several elements which recur in the later Larry games, including Larry's campy attire, perpetual bad luck with women, and penchant for double-entendres. The story and basic structure of the game are lifted from Softporn Adventure, a 1981 Apple II text adventure.
Despite a lack of advertising, the game was a sleeper hit and a commercial and critical success. Sierra developed and published a remake that used the Sierra's Creative Interpreter (SCI) engine with 256 colors and a point-and-click, icon-driven (as opposed to text-based) user interface, released for the PC DOS, Apple Macintosh, and Amiga in 1991. A second, high-definition remake/reboot, titled Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded, was developed by N-Fusion Interactive working with series' creator Al Lowe and published by Replay Games in 2013.

You're ready to buy a serious Stratocaster. But nowadays with all these companies making their own version of my beloved Fender Stratocaster, should you spend your hard earned money on a Custom Shop Fender? Or should you go the "Boutique" route?
Here is my PERSONAL experience and opinion.
Right off the bat, I am an LSL Instruments Artist, I however make absolutely no money, commission, or anything for steering you towards LsL or not. With that out of the way I'd like to share with you my experience and thought process with this subject.
Your budget to buy a new Strat is in the 3 to $4,000 range. You could go and get yourself a brand new Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster, TODAY. But was that guitar made for you? I guarantee you it wasn't. And that in no way is bad. My god don't get me wrong, some of these guitars are exact replicas of guitars that are well over $40,000 and they do a damn good job replicating the sound look and feel of 'em! But my question is, was this guitar made for you? It was not. So, fine, let's go the Master Built route like the strat in this video. Well... that one still wasn't made FOR you. So you want a fender custom shop, that is master built, by a master builder, FOR YOU, with your specifications! YES!!! How long? 2 years minimum depending on how popular the builder is, and oh also your $4,000 budget is now a measly 25% deposit.
This is where a company like LsL Instruments comes in. They offer (and again this is MY opinion) better quality than the fender customer shop does, and guess what? They're building YOUR guitar the exact same way you ask them to do it. LSL is not as big as Fender, and has much less luthiers and guitar techs, so their attention to detail is that much greater, and things don't just "pass QC", they must be perfect.
I was fortunate enough to be contacted by LsL instruments and we discussed the exact guitar I've always wanted but never wanted to wait 2 years for and pay 3 seperate house mortgages to get it.
And there it is! Built to my exact specifications, a 1960s style Saticoy Custom in Vintage White. I hope you enjoy this video, and if you read this, thank you so much!

In this episode of Guitar Factory Tour, we went to LsL Instruments in Santa Clarita, California. It is about a 40-min drive from our shop here in Pasadena. LsL was founded in 2008 by husband-and-wife couple Lance S. Lerman and Lisa S. Lerman in the garage of their home. Lance is very knowledgeable in every single aspect of the guitar building process. LsL Instruments makes well over 90% of the guitar parts. Their meticulous attention to detail is what sets them apart and makes their guitars playing and sounding great. "The reason they sound great is because of all those little steps" - Lance.

Leisure Suit Larry 5: Passionate Patti Does a Little Undercover Work is the fourth entry in the Leisure Suit Larry series of graphical adventure games published by Sierra Entertainment. It is the first title in the series to have 256-color graphics and a fully icon-based interface. The title of the game is misleading, as there is no Leisure Suit Larry 4: The Missing Floppies.
Gameplay
Leisure Suit Larry 5 expands on the multi-character feature of the previous installment, with control periodically passing between Larry and Patti. The overall difficulty is greatly reduced in comparison with past games; neither character can become trapped or die, and losing the game is impossible. Many of the items players collect on their journey are merely optional, and will not affect the game's progress.
Plot
The absence of a "Leisure Suit Larry 4" forms the basis of this newest installment, as Julius Biggs has stolen the 'missing floppies' of the game and caused Larry Laffer to become amnesiac. Larry is now in the adult film industry, working for a Mafia-connected company known as PornProdCorp. His boss sends him across the United States to scout for models to appear in "America's Sexiest Home Videos".
