Lee David Bowyer (born 3 January 1977) is an English former professional footballer born in Canning Town, London. Bowyer has previously played for several English clubs including Leeds United, Charlton Athletic, West Ham United, Newcastle United, Birmingham City and Ipswich Town. Bowyer has been capped once by the England national football team.
Bowyer played for youth team Senrab before joining Charlton Athletic as a schoolboy. He turned professional in April 1994. He first drew attention in 1995, when he and teammate Dean Chandler failed a drugs test for cannabis use. Bowyer was dropped from the England under-18 squad and suspended for eight weeks while he took part in a rehabilitation course organised by the Football Association (the FA). He went on to become a first-team regular, making 58 appearances for Charlton and scoring 14 goals.
In 1996, he was signed by Leeds United manager Howard Wilkinson for £2.8 million, which was a record for a British teenager. Later the same year, Bowyer was convicted of affray and fined £4,500 following an incident in a McDonald's restaurant in London in which CCTV footage showed Bowyer throwing chairs and racially abusing a staff member of Asian origin.
Kieron Courtney Dyer /ˈdaɪər/ (born 29 December 1978) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.
Born in Ipswich, he played youth football for his home club Ipswich Town before going on to make nearly 100 league appearances for the club's first team. He was sold to Newcastle United for £6 million, at the time the highest fee paid for an Ipswich player, and made nearly 200 appearances for Newcastle between 1999 and 2007. A move for the same fee to West Ham United followed, but Dyer suffered from various injuries, restricting him to 30 league appearances in four seasons. After a short loan back to Ipswich in March 2011, he signed for newly promoted club Queens Park Rangers ahead of their 2011–12 Premier League season. However, his time at QPR was again blighted by injuries and he made just eight appearances for the club before being released in January 2013, spending the rest of the season at Middlesbrough before retiring.
Dyer represented England on 33 occasions between 1999 and 2007. He was a member of the England squads which reached the quarter-finals at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2004.

This is a video recording of the original Match of the Day clip from the day when Newcastle lost 3-0 to Aston Villa, a match infamous for the fight between Lee Bowyer and Kieron Dyer after the third goal. Yes i know it's bad quality - it's converted from VHS to DVD, it's the best i can do with no effort :) The Newcastle-Villa match starts at 2:07 The fight is at 12:03 I love rewatching this clip - there are so many good parts, and it gives context to the boiling point that was reached on the pitch. Newcastle had four decent penalty appeals, and all of Villa's goals are a result of shambolic defending. Villa's second goal features a remarkable piece of acting from young Toon defender Steven Taylor (at 9:51), who tries to persuade the referee that the ball didn't hit his arm. Alas, his...

she is hot !!!!
A vicious challenge from Bowyer that deserved much more than a yellow card and which ultimately got him a six-game suspension.
Tense Group H clash as Leeds move closer to qualifying for the next stage. Lee Bowyer scores with a great free kick. Apologies for the slightly fuzzy video.

A bizarre goal from Lucas Radebe - he does it sitting down - plus a great strike from Lee Bowyer.
Newcastle United v Olympiacos Newcastle United 4-0 Olympiacos Wednesday 16th March 2005 Kieron Dyer produced a cheeky backheeled finish to put the Geordies ahead after just 18 minutes. A demoralised Olympiakos offered no threat and Nicky Butt crashed a superb drive against the bar before Alan Shearer drove in from close range. Lee Bowyer hit the third on 54 minutes before Shearer rifled a shot into the roof of the net to seal victory. Ολυμπιακός

Southampton v Newcastle United Southampton 3-3 Newcastle United Wednesday 12th May 2004 Southampton ended Newcastle's hopes of a Champions league spot after claiming a draw in a fascinating battle. Shola Ameobi put Newcastle ahead when he slotted low into the bottom left corner, but James Beattie tapped in a rebound to equalise for Saints. Lee Bowyer then drilled in a low shot but Titus Bramble put through his own net to bring the scores level again. Leandre Griffit struck late on to put Saints ahead before Darren Ambrose restored parity once more. Newcastle got off to a flying start, knowing they had to win to maintain their push for a fourth-placed finish in the Premiership and the last remaining Champions League spot. And with less than 10 minutes of the game gone, Ameobi demo...

"Coalescence" is a composition for four shortwave radios written by David Lee, an Atlanta-based artist. In spring/summer 1991, two live performances of "Coalescence" took place. The performers were David Lee, Angela Bowyer, Doug DeLoach, and Susan Eldridge. One performance was at a small basement space called Klang! The other at Cuong Nu Studio, a larger space used for dance rehearsals, yoga/martial arts classes, etc. Neither of the official performances of "Coalescence" were recorded. Happily, seven "Coalescence" rehearsal sessions were recorded on cassette tape. The rehearsals transpired over a period of several weeks in winter 1990/spring 1991. The score of "Coalescence" calls for four performers, each of whom is sitting at a shortwave radio in one corner of the room, listening with ...
I am the day, soon to be born
I am the light before the morning
I am the night, that will be dawn
I am the end and the beginning
[Chorus]
I am the alpha and omega
The night and day, the first and last
Illuminosa, immortalis
Sancta gloriosa
Illuminosa, immortalis
Sancta gloriosa
In aeterna
I am the life, soon to begin
I am the new hope in the morning
I am the darkness, soon to be light
I am the rising and the falling
[Chorus]
I am the alpha and omega
The night and day, the first and last
Illuminosa, immortalis
Sancta gloriosa
Illuminosa, immortalis
