Das MG3 ist das 1969 eingeführte Standardmaschinengewehr (MG) der Bundeswehr. Es ist eine Weiterentwicklung des deutschen Maschinengewehrs MG42 aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Hergestellt wurde es von der Firma Rheinmetall, heute wird es unter anderem von POF (Pakistan Ordnance Factories) in Lizenz gebaut.
Vorläufer des MG3 bei der Bundeswehr war das MG1, das ab 1957 eingeführt, in der Version MG1 A3 mit dem MG3 optisch nahezu identisch war (der Rückstoßverstärker war vor der Version MG1 A3 dem des MG42 ähnlich). Die MG1 A3 wurden um das Jahr 1965 produziert und später umgebaut; unter der Bezeichnung MG3 werden sie nach wie vor von der Bundeswehr verwendet.

History
Production of the first postwar variant of the MG 42 chambered in a standard NATO caliber (designated the MG 1) was launched in 1958 at the Rheinmetall arms factory as requested by the Bundeswehr. Shortly thereafter, the machine gun was modified, receiving a chrome-lined barrel and sights properly calibrated for the new round; this model would be named the MG 1A1 (known also as the MG 42/58).

Machine gun
A machine gun is a fully automatic mounted or portable firearm, designed to fire bullets in quick succession from an ammunition belt or magazine, typically at a rate of 300 to 1800 rounds per minute. Fully automatic weapons are generally categorized as submachine guns, assault rifles, battle rifles, automatic shotguns, machine guns, or autocannons.
As a class of military firearms, true machine guns are fully automatic weapons designed to be used as support weapons and generally used when attached to a mount or fired from the ground on a bipod or tripod. Light machine guns are small enough to be fired hand-held, but are more effective when fired from a prone position. MG 3
The MG 3 is a supermini car produced by the Chinese company MG Motor in two generations from 2008 onwards. The first generation, marketed as the MG 3 SW, is based on the British-made Rover Streetwise, which itself was similar to the Rover 25, while the second generation introduced in 2011 is marketed simply as the MG 3 and is based on a new platform.
First generation
The first generation MG 3 SW is essentially a rebadged version of the Rover Streetwise, which had ceased production in April 2005 after the bankruptcy of predecessor organisation MG Rover. It started production in 2008 at SAIC's Chinese factory in Pukou, Nanjing.
The MG 3 SW is only on sale in the Chinese market and cannot be exported by SAIC.
Second generation
The new MG 3 was showcased at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show in the form of the MG Zero concept car. The new model uses an all-new automotive platform with a wheelbase of 2.5 m, featuring MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear axle. The development work took place in the United Kingdom, with production initially in China. The car went on sale in China in the spring of 2011. Engine options at launch consist of a choice of 1.3 (1343 cc) and 1.5-litre (1498 cc), rated at 68 kW (91 bhp) and 80 kW (107 bhp) respectively, with either a five-speed manual transmission or an Italian AMT transmission called e-shift. The MG3 supermini has a low insurance (group 4E) and over a million personalisation options.

Bundeswehr Maschinengewehr MG 3 Schießen German Machine Gun MG 3 Shooting, Shooting the MG3 Das MG3 ist das 1969 eingeführte Standardmaschinengewehr (MG) der Bundeswehr. Es ist eine Weiterentwicklung des deutschen Maschinengewehrs MG42 aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Hergestellt wurde es von der Firma Rheinmetall, heute wird es unter anderem von POF (Pakistan Ordnance Factories) in Lizenz gebaut. Vorläufer des MG3 bei der Bundeswehr war das MG1, das ab 1957 eingeführt, in der Version MG1 A3 mit dem MG3 optisch nahezu identisch war (der Rückstoßverstärker war vor der Version MG1 A3 dem des MG42 ähnlich). Die MG1 A3 wurden um das Jahr 1965 produziert und später umgebaut; unter der Bezeichnung MG3 werden sie nach wie vor von der Bundeswehr verwendet. The MG3 is a German general-purpose machine gun chambered for the 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge. The weapon's design is derived from the World War II era MG 42 universal machine gun that fired the 7.92×57mm Mauser round. The MG3 was standardized in the late 1950s and adopted into service with the newly formed Bundeswehr, where it continues to serve to this day as a squad support weapon and vehicle-mounted machine gun. The weapon and its derivatives have also been acquired by the armed forces of over 30 countries. Production rights to the machine gun were purchased by Italy (MG 42/59), Spain, Pakistan (MG 1A3), Greece, Iran, Sudan and Turkey. The MG-3 machine guns were the mainstay of German infantry (and vehicle) firepower during World War II, and it will take several videos to properly cover them. Vorläufer des MG3 bei der Bundeswehr war das MG1, das ab 1957 eingeführt, in der Version MG1 A3 mit dem MG3 optisch nahezu identisch war (der Rückstoßverstärker war vor der Version MG1 A3 dem des MG42 ähnlich). Die MG1 A3 wurden um das Jahr 1965 produziert und später umgebaut; unter der Bezeichnung MG3 werden sie nach wie vor von der Bundeswehr verwendet.
The MG3 is a German general-purpose machine gun chambered for the 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge. The weapon's design is derived from the World War II era MG 42 universal machine gun that fired the 7.92×57mm Mauser round.
The MG3 was standardized in the late 1950s and adopted into service with the newly formed Bundeswehr, where it continues to serve to this day as a squad support weapon and vehicle-mounted machine gun. The weapon and its derivatives have also been acquired by the armed forces of over 30 countries. Production rights to the machine gun were purchased by Italy (MG 42/59), Spain, Pakistan (MG 1A3), Greece, Iran, Sudan and Turkey.
The MG-3 machine guns were the mainstay of German infantry (and vehicle) firepower during World War II, and it will take several videos to properly cover them. For now, we are shooting them both, and explaining how to load, unload, and operate them (including changing barrels on the. Enjoy!
