SU-47 Berkut Twin 70mm - BananaHobby - Maiden Flight 7-19-2011

My BananaHobby SU-47 Berkut Twin 70mm EDF jet. I got this jet back in March 2010. Back then, I had so many issues with the plane. Everytime I brought it out to fly, something was wrong with. Either an ESC blew out, the Retracts completely failed or other issues. After sitting on the shelf for over a year, I got the "BUG" and broke into it. I had to make the retracts static unfortunately or else buy all new retracts. I figured lets make them static and get a few flights, and then later I can address the retracts again if I like what I see. The video is actually the maiden flight with a bit of the 2nd flight mixed into it. The first flight was short and not much going on. I made a few adjustments to the controls and expo and flew a 2nd flight right after. I was then happy with the plane. I was rolling it, zipping by low and close. Having fun! The chute never did work. It will take some major mods to get that thing working right. How does it fly? Not real well. Any tight moves and she slips into a stall bad. Keep up the speed and wide turns, and she is great! I was happy to finally get this bird off the ground, out of the hangar and hit the sky with it! Banana Hobby BlitzRCWorks F-16 Pro EDF Thrust Vectoring RC Airplane

Robert was taking his BlitzRCWorks F16 out for a flight on April 30th 2011 and I just had to video tape it .. Check it out!!! Robert flies in the same field as I do and he has a nice collection of EDF jets. This one is a "5 CH BlitzRCWorks Gray BZ-16 Pro 3D Thrust Vectoring" Aerobatic Electric Ducted Fan Fighter Jet. He told me he got it from Banana Hobby. Im not personally familiar with them but I have seem some interesting reviews online. I have never flown any EDF planes yet, but I gotta say it was awesome to watch! Once Robert got this baby up in the air it took off... this thing was fast! The sound is classic EDF and the F16's Thrust Vectoring feature allowed him to do some nice aerobatics... I tried to keep up with him in the video as much as I could!!!... This F-16 is nice looking, detailed and features 800mm (31.5 in) wingspan. He told me he basically upgraded everything from the motor to additions of spars for extra support... For a radio he used his Spektrum dx6i 6 Channel 2.4GHz....Hope you enjoy this clip and Thanks for watching! If you're interested in getting into this hobby my recommendation from my own experience would be to use a simulator and find a trainer that can easily be fixed (you will crash a time or two when you start learning)...I personally used the Flyzone Sky Fly Max from Tower Hobbies... great plane to learn on and you can watch a clip of it in my videos... Once you get comfortable with orientation and the controls you can easily move to ...

Banana Hobby F-18 90mm EDF Jet VERSION 1 -- its last Flight maybe 5-20-12 - Super Crash

Thats Right, This is the 2 1/2 Year Old Version 1 F-18 90mm EDF from Banana Hobby. I've had 1 successful flight with this problem ridden plane in the past 2 1/2 years. From failing ESC to Motor issues all the way down to failing retracts. So Saturday Night I decide to tear the retracts out of this thing and just hand launch it and see what happens! Check it out! Be sure to post your thoughts on what you think happened after doing your own analysis of the, umm, flight. Version 1. had the old 90mm motor that ran off 5 cell lipo, NOT the 6cell version.
