Paul Collins Broun, Jr. (born May 14, 1946) is the U.S. Representative for Georgia's 10th congressional district, serving since 2007. He is a member of the Republican Party and the Tea Party Caucus.

Broun was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of Democratic Georgia state senator Paul Broun, Sr. (1916–2005), who represented Athens and the surrounding area from 1963 to 2001. The younger Broun is a graduate of the University of Georgia at Athens and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He is known for maintaining a medical practice based solely on house calls.

Broun grew up as a Democrat, but became a Republican sometime in the 1980s. He was previously a candidate for the U.S. House in 1990, losing to Democratic incumbent Richard Ray, and for the U.S. Senate in 1996, losing the Republican primary.

Broun was one of the top two vote-getters in a June 2007 special congressional election to fill the seat vacated by the late Charlie Norwood. The first place finisher, State Senator Jim Whitehead, more than doubled Broun's vote total, and Broun had only 198 votes more than the third-place finisher.

David N. Bossie (born 1965 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American political activist. Since 2000 he has been President and Chairman of conservative advocacy organization Citizens United.

Bossie grew up in Massachusetts to parents he has described as "apolitical". When he first registered to vote he left the political affiliation box blank. When an employee explained to him that it was a requirement for registration in Massachusetts, he said that he wanted to be whatever Ronald Reagan was. The employee said that she wasn't permitted to tell him but gave him a newspaper and said, "Here, read this, figure it out and fill in the appropriate box."

During the 1992 presidential election, Bossie worked for Floyd Brown at the Presidential Victory Committee, a political action committee. Bossie and a colleague attempted to show that a pregnant young woman had committed suicide in 1977, following an affair with her law professor Bill Clinton. CBS Evening News with Dan Rather alleged they had harassed Susann Coleman's family, with what Engberg called "police state" tactics.

Erick Erickson (born June 3, 1975), also known as Erick-Woods Erickson, is a politically conservative American blogger and managing editor of the blog site RedState.com. In 2010, he became a political contributor for CNN's John King, USA. Erickson also hosts a weekday radio show on WSB (AM) from 6 P.M.–9 P.M.

Erickson was born in Jackson, Louisiana, moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates when he was 5 and returned to Jackson when he was 15. Erickson attended the American School of Dubai, previously known as the Jumeirah American School. Erickson received a bachelor’s degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and a law degree at Mercer’s Walter F. George School of Law and is an inactive member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia.

Erickson was an elected Republican member of Macon’s city council, but resigned partway through his first term to pursue a job with WSB radio in Atlanta . While he was in office, Macon police officers considered forming a union. To counter the formation of the labor union, Erickson urged that the police department be dissolved.
