10 Minute Warning (also known as Ten Minute Warning) was a hardcore punk band from Seattle, Washington. They became famous locally as one of the first bands to adapt the popular punk sound to something slower and heavier, paving the way for grunge bands like Green River and Mother Love Bone before breaking up in 1984.
The group was formed in 1982, by The Fartz members Paul Solger and Duff McKagan, also of the Fastbacks, after original Fartz singer Blaine Cook quit due to musical differences. Filling out the band's line-up were vocalist Steve Verwolf, bassist David Garrigues, and future Mother Love Bone drummer, Greg Gilmore. David left the band in 83 due to personality clashes. Duff took over duties on bass for a single 8 track recording of Necropolitan Affair. Duff left the band in mid 84 due to - again - personality clashes. Jim Lightfoot, former partner in Modern Productions and member of Memory, joined as bass player, though stayed on only through a single performance. The final pre-Sub Pop line up was cemented by the addition of Daniel House on bass.
Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. (born October 20, 1971), better known by his stage name Snoop Dogg (formerly known as Snoop Doggy Dogg), is an American rapper, record producer, and actor. Snoop is best known as a rapper in the West Coast hip hop scene, and for being one of Dr. Dre's most notable protégés. Snoop Dogg was a Crip gang member while in high school. Shortly after graduation, he was arrested for cocaine possession and spent six months in Wayside County Jail. His music career began in 1992 after his release when he was discovered by Dr. Dre. He collaborated on several tracks on Dre's solo debut, The Chronic and on the titular theme song to the film Deep Cover.
Snoop's debut album Doggystyle, was released in 1993 under Death Row Records making a debut at No.1 on both the Billboard 200 and R&B charts. Selling almost a million copies in the first week of its release, Doggystyle quickly became certified 4× platinum in 1994 and spawned several hit singles, including "What's My Name" and "Gin & Juice". In 1994, Snoop released a soundtrack on Death Row Records for the short film Murder Was The Case, starring himself. In early 1996, Snoop Dogg was cleared of charges over his bodyguard's 1993 murder of Philip Woldemariam. His second album, late 1996's Tha Doggfather, also debuted at No.1 on both charts with "Snoop's Upside Ya Head" as the lead single. The album sold only half as well, being certified double platinum in 1997.
Mark Anthony Patrick Owen (born 27 January 1972), is an English singer-songwriter. He is a member of pop band Take That. The band were hugely successful during the 1990s and have enjoyed even more success since their reunion in 2005. As a solo artist, Mark Owen had sold over 400,000 records worldwide and 80 million with Take That.
Take That formed in 1990 and during his time with the group, Owen sang lead vocals on "Babe", which was released in December 1993 from the Everything Changes album. It reached number one in the UK, but was knocked off the top spot at Christmas by Mr Blobby. He also sang lead vocals on "The Day After Tomorrow" from the Nobody Else album, and that concludes Owen's vocal contributions to the band the first time around. Despite this, Owen was the most popular member of the group, on account of his boyish good looks and sweet demeanour, regularly earning awards such as Smash Hit's "Most Fanciable Male in the World" and "Best Haircut".
After Take That split, Owen became the second of the band's ex-members to release a solo record. He reached number three in the UK Singles Chart with his debut single, "Child". His second single, "Clementine", also went to number three. In 1997 his album Green Man was released, charting at a number 33. After another single, "I Am What I Am", charted at number 29, Owen was dropped by BMG Records in late 1997.
This is just a nightmare
But soon I'm going to wake up
Someone's gonna bring me around
Hiding from the bombers
Wading through the fields
Running in the half light
Running to ??
Just like everybody
Could ??
Running through the underground
And this is your warning
4 minute warning
I don't wanna hear it
I don't wanna grow old
I just wanna run and hide
Now I'm in a nightmare
But soon I'm gonna wake up
Someone's gonna bring me 'round
This is your warning
