Qatar Radio (Arabic: إذاعة قطر) is a Qatari radio station.
Qatar Radio is currently an associate member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), while all competing countries of the Eurovision Song Contest must be active members of the Union. The broadcaster first revealed on 12 May 2009 that they were interested in becoming active members of the Union, which would allow the nation to compete in the Contest. Qatar Radio has stated that they hope to join Eurovision by 2011.
Qatar first became involved in the Contest at the 2009 edition, where the broadcaster sent a delegation to the contest and broadcast a weekly radio show called '12pointsqatar' dedicated to Eurovision, which received a good response, which has initiated the further involvement of Qatar in Eurovision.
Qatar Radio has said that they feel that they would be happy to join all other competitors in the contest, including Israel if Qatar gets membership.
Qatar (i/ˈkɑːtɑr/ or i/kəˈtɑr/;Arabic: قطر [ˈqɑtˤɑr]; local vernacular pronunciation: [ɡɪtˤɑr]), also known as the country or State of Qatar or locally Dawlat Qaṭar, is a sovereign Arab state, located in Western Asia, occupying the small Qatar Peninsula on the northeasterly coast of the much larger Arabian Peninsula. Its sole land border is with Saudi Arabia to the south, with the rest of its territory surrounded by the Persian Gulf. A strait of the Persian Gulf separates Qatar from the nearby island state of Bahrain.
Qatar has been ruled as an absolute monarchy by Al Thani family since the mid-19th century. Formerly a British protectorate noted mainly for pearling, it became independent in 1971, and has become one of the region's wealthiest states due to its enormous oil and natural gas revenues. In 1995, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani became Emir when he seized power from his father, Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, in a peaceful coup d'état. The most important positions in Qatar are held by the members of the Al Thani family, or close confidants of the al-Thani family. Beginning in 1992, Qatar has built intimate military ties with the United States, and is now the location of U.S. Central Command’s Forward Headquarters and the Combined Air Operations Center.

Stephen "Steve" Brian Foster (born 24 September 1957, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England) is a former English football player, famed for wearing a headband and having one of the greatest beards in football.
Foster was an associate schoolboy with Southampton, but was not offered a professional contract. He started his professional career at Portsmouth in 1973 as a Centre Forward. After a season manager Ian St John converted Foster to a Centre Back and he marked his debut in that position with an own goal against Bury in November 1976. He played for his home town club until 1979 when he joined Brighton. While at Brighton, Foster won three caps for England, was a member of England's 1982 World Cup squad, and reached the final of the 1983 FA Cup, where they held Manchester United to a 2-2 draw before losing 4-0 in the replay. Despite Brighton's relegation that season, Foster remained at the Goldstone Ground.
After five seasons at Brighton, Foster was sold to Aston Villa in March 1984. However, after only eight largely unsuccessful months at Villa Park, he was transferred to Luton Town in November 1984. At Luton, he became a rock in central defence, and captained the Hatters to the 1988 League Cup.
Cold wind's blowing, confusions growing
Signs showing nobody's home
Peer through your window, Nothing but an empty soul
Where'd you move, Where'd you go
Am I too late, to stop this
I'm in disbelief, I keep knocking
But the carving in that old oak tree, said forever you and me
The one thing I believed in has failed me
When everyone was looking on the outside in
I got to know you behind closed curtains
And be the one to make sure that you're safe and warm
How could you leave me, all alone, in the cold, at the door
Without a key to your heart
How could you leave me, no goodbye, boy I'm gone, movin on and now my love won't survive
Where can I mail off and send this, pent up emotion, cause you don't live here anymore
How could you leave me, all alone in the cold at the door
Without a key to your
Heart's pounding, yelling loudly, throwing rocks at your window
Trying to kick it, put my, shoulder into it and once more tried the handle
And the telephone's disconnected, no more electricity, I'm assuming
With our prints in the cement, remember when we were six
Wish we could be there again
When everyone was looking on the outside in
I got to know you behind closed curtains
And be the one to make sure that you're safe and warm
How could you leave me, all alone, in the cold, at the door
Without a key to your heart
How could you leave me, no goodbye, boy I'm gone, movin on and now my love won't survive
Where can I mail off and send this, pent up emotion, cause you don't live here anymore
How could you leave me, all alone in the cold at the door
Without a key to your heart
You said you'd never leave, this home feels so empty
Tell me where did you go, go
Never saw a moving sign, just locked out wondering why
Your heart don't live here no more, How could you
How could you leave me, all alone, in the cold, at the door
Without a key to your heart
How could you leave me, no goodbye, boy I'm gone, movin on and now my love won't survive
Where can I mail off and send this, pent up emotion, cause you don't live here anymore
How could you leave me, all alone in the cold at the door
