BeardMeatsFood takes on The UK's Biggest Mixed Grill Challenge at The George Pub and Grill, in Stockton-on-Tees...Many have tried but none have succeeded in conquering this 9,000 calorie, 10lb feast! I had 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
The meal consists of:
Two 10oz steaks, two chicken breasts, six sausages, six bacon, one half pound burger, two pounds of chips, twelve onion rings, six black pudding, two eggs, piri piri chicken, pulled pork, coleslaw.

8 lamb cutlets
4 beef porterhouse steaks
8 pork sausages
8 slices rindless bacon
4 large flat mushrooms
2 large tomatoes
1 sprig rosemary
1/4 cup olive oil
salt & pepper to season

Video Cooking Demonstration for a BBQ Mixed Grill. Here we show you how to make a mixed grill, by mixing and matching different varieties of meats and small goods you can provide a satisfying, protein rich, economical family meal. Cheaper cuts of meats can be successfully used and the Barbecue gives it a lovely flavour. A stick of cabanossi or cabana (sliced into rings) added at the beginning of the cooking provides a ready made entree which goes a long way and adds extra flavour to the cooking plate for the onions and tomatoes. By placing the tomatoes on a cooler part of the plate, your hot meal will be ready all at once. Remove meats, to rest, as they reach the level of doneness required by your guests and never overcook anything. Everybody loves a Barbie! Do give it a try.
INGREDIENTS:
Your choice of steak, sausages, chops, bacon, small goods, onion, eggs, tomato, ham steaks, even banana and pineapple rings could be included. Plenty of Bread and Home made butter and coleslaw, salads, tomato sauce or ketchup, chutneys, bbq sauce and chili or mustard. Customise it to suit your diners tastes.
This quick and easy meal is perfect all year round to enjoy with family and friends.

Once again we are very, much honoured to be allowed a very privileged peek inside the kitchen of Rose Restaurant in Kingsbury to watch our favourite starter dishs' being prepared and made (namely the "Rose Special Tandoori Mixed Grill" & "Paneer Tikka").
This is our all time favourite Indian vegetarian restaurant, if we go to Kingsbury then highly likely we'll be eating lunch or dinner here.
In this video we can see the master chef make his version of Paneer Tikka..........the actual recipe is a secret but we can confirm that it is absolutely Delicious, Delicious, Delicious!!!
This is wonderful "Indian Style Street Food" at it's very best...........but in a restaurant, (we have eaten the equivalent dish in other restaurants & nowhere has come close to this restaurants version).
The Rose Special Tandoori Mixed Grill consists of a selection of marinated vegetables like: Mogo, Mushrooms, Capsicum (bell-peppers), Onion, Tomatoes & Paneer Chunks which are all grilled in a Tandoor clay oven & then served piping hot on a sizzler.
A special thank you to Suresh & his team who welcomed us and graciously allowed us a privileged glimpse into their kitchen to do the videoing.

MIX GRILL
FOR THE LAMB
500gr of local lamb diced
50ml yogurt
30gr Adzika
1 lemon juice
Salt and black pepper to taste
FOR THE CHICKEN
4 breast of local chicken
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon adzika
1 tablespoon of home made ketchup (see above)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
FOR THE PORK
500gr pork loin diced
2 Big onions sliced
2 tablespoon of local mustard
1 tablespoon Adzika
2 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoon of white vine vinegar
FOR THE LAMB KOFTE
500gr mince lamb
100gr white bread soaked in the milk, drain, squeeze
2 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 tablespoon chopped coriander
1 tablespoon Adzika
3 tablespoon of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the marinating, mix all ingredients, check the seasoning, should be nice and spicy, then put the meat and mix well, like a good massage, and leave for the rest minimum 1-2 hours.
Mix all together, make sure that the mix getting out from you hands easily, like ready bread dough. Put everything on the shish. THEN GRILL.

Once again we are very, much honoured to be allowed a very privileged peek inside the kitchen of Rose Restaurant in Kingsbury to watch our favourite starter dishs' being prepared and made (namely the "Rose Special Tandoori Mixed Grill" & "Paneer Tikka").
This is our all time favourite Indian vegetarian restaurant, if we go to Kingsbury then highly likely we'll be eating lunch or dinner here.
In this video we can see the master chef make his version of Paneer Tikka..........the actual recipe is a secret but we can confirm that it is absolutely Delicious, Delicious, Delicious!!!
This is wonderful "Indian Style Street Food" at it's very best...........but in a restaurant, (we have eaten the equivalent dish in other restaurants & nowhere has come close to this restaurants version).
The Rose Special Tandoori Mixed Grill consists of a selection of marinated vegetables like: Mogo, Mushrooms, Capsicum (bell-peppers), Onion, Tomatoes & Paneer Chunks which are all grilled in a Tandoor clay oven & then served piping hot on a sizzler.
A special thank you to Suresh & his team who welcomed us and graciously allowed us a privileged glimpse into their kitchen to do the videoing.
