Georgia May King (born 14 November 1986) is a Scottish actress.
King was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, the daughter of actor Jonathan Hyde and opera singer Isobel Buchanan. She went to Exeter School.
Although King grew up dreaming of being a director, she got her break into acting when she was eighteen and still working at a cheese shop, making her professional debut as Rosamond Oliver in Jane Eyre. She was nearly unable to play the role, however, "A week before the day she began filming, King felt stomach pains, then had her appendix rupture. Her agent told the producers that she was unlikely to recover from the operation to remove it for at least ten days." Another actress was cast, but King recovered in time and was able to get the required medical clearance to film.
She is best known as Goldie, a surrogate mother in the American sitcom, The New Normal. Formerly, she was well known for her acclaimed performance as the tyrannical head-girl Harriet Bentley in 2008's Wild Child, and as cruel, conniving Sophie in the 2009 slasher film, Tormented. Also in 2009 King received critical acclaim for her performance as the manipulative Victoria in the film Tanner Hall. She also performed in One Night in November at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry, from October to November 2010, as well as being featured in the 2011 film Chalet Girl. She appeared as Princess Elena in the episode "The Changeling" of the third series of the BBC's Merlin. She starred in the comedy horror film Cockneys vs Zombies as a bank robbery hostage trying to escape from a zombie-infested London. The film also stars Michelle Ryan, Rasmus Hardiker, and Jack Doolan, and was released in 2012.
Georgia has two principal meanings:

A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. Films may be of recent date and, depending upon the festival's focus, can include international and domestic releases. Some festivals focus on a specific film-maker or genre (e.g., film noir) or subject matter (e.g., horror film festivals). A number of film festivals specialise in short films of a defined maximum length. Film festivals are typically annual events. Some film historians do not consider Film Festivals as official releases of film, like Jerry Beck. The best known film festivals are the Venice Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival, the latter being the largest film festival worldwide, based on attendance. The Venice Film Festival is the oldest major festival. The Melbourne International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the oldest in the world. A 2013 study found 3,000 active films festivals worldwide—active defined as having held an event in the previous 24 months.
The following is a list of Wu-Tang Clan associated acts, known as Killa Beez and Wu Fam. They are at times directly funded, supported, or produced by Clan members, are formed as extension groups originating from Clan members, or close to The Clan. The list is ever growing, but there remains a basis of sound and content musically common amongst the vast majority.
A.I.G. is a duo composed of Allah Wise (aka The Wizard), and Darkim Be Allah. The group, whose name stands for "Allah Is God", debuted on the Wu-Tang Killa Bees: The Swarm compilation with the track "Bronx War Stories". An album titled Retaliation Strike was completed but was never released, a situation which eventually caused the group to leave the Wu-Tang stable and pursue an independent route, though they remain on good terms with the collective. They finally released their debut Fame Labs Presents in 2005. Stefano and Mike joined the group in 2011 as interns, but quickly escalated to the top with songs accounting for their daily trials and tribulations as interns. In 2012, Stefano and Mike were formally offered to continue their careers at A.I.G. on a full-time basis.
Emily King (born July 10, 1985) is a Grammy-nominated American singer and songwriter. She started her career in 2004 and her debut album East Side Story was released three years later in August 2007. In December 2007, King was listed as a Grammy nominee for Best Contemporary R&B Album.
Born in New York City in 1985, King grew up in a small apartment on the Lower East Side. Her parents, Marion Cowings and Kim Kalesti, were a singing duo who performed and traveled regularly, bringing her and her older brother along with them. At age 16, King left high school, after earning her GED, to pursue her music career. She began playing shows in restaurants and venues around New York City including CBGB and The Bitter End.
In 2004, King gained the attention of Hitman producer Chucky Thompson, which led to a meeting with famed music mogul Clive Davis, and a recording contract with J Records / Sony Music.
Signing her first record deal with J Records in 2004, her debut album East Side Story was released 3 years later in August 2007. It went on to earn a Grammy nomination for "Best Contemporary R&B Album of the Year." During that time King toured with John Legend and Floetry. She also opened for various artists such as Nas, Alicia Keys, Chaka Khan and Erykah Badu. After parting ways with her label in 2008, King continues her work independently. Her follow-up EP “Seven” was recorded in her home and released in July, 2011. In October she accepted an invitation from Maroon 5 to be the opening act on their European/Scandinavian tour in late 2011.
