[dj hurricane]
East, west, check this out
Check it, ye-yeah, ye-yeah
East east, west west, south south..
[chorus: dj hurricane]
I got that east coast connect, west coast connect
Dirty south connect, so show some respect
When my niggaz comin through you see we comin correct
Who are you, what you do, who you tryin to threat?
[xzibit]
I'm the wrong cat to call out; we fall out
The police gon' have some dead bodies to haul out
All out in the open for the world to see
Avire-x to the z-i, b-i-t
V.i.p., you're small time, three on three
Cause you can't ball accurately, tackle the beast
Stomp it down, slap it with heat, bitch behave
Shit, we blaze to make a nigga act his age
I'm tryin to write the phrase that pays
You kick it with gays, dykes, and all type of wackness
Preach what you practice
Here we seperate the real niggaz from the actors
A&r;'s, mc searchin, suck my cactus!
Blackness surround your sight and sound
As xzibit hit you and you hit the ground
My chips ain't never gon' be down, watch me smoke
And flatline the first nigga to cross this line
[chorus]
[gipp]
It's the gipp goodie, we kick the soul slang
To yo' block, or they streets, we all gon' hang
We like to shine and ride, bump corners in our bumper cars
Top down, with the candy paint job
Import export up and down the highway
Old ladies transportin straight through the skyways
In the corner in the five(? ) I got purple haze
Fat knot short sess with the tree ton(? )
These streets we run, rapper refund
You ridin up but we want yo' flows old like girbauds
We hold, everything it takes to create the odes
To north to the west to the south again
If it's war that you want just pull the pin
Rules we don't break 'em, we refuse to bend
If you don't build right you better take yo' ass home
Cause some catch stray bullets all alone
[chorus]
[pharoahe monch]
I got the chevy impala shit, street scholar with
Collarless, japanese aikido with, rottweiler mixed
Top dollar dick now, swallow my whole nut rap
Gun in my mouth, pop shit, still sayin, "fuck that"
You have to listen, brew, trapped in a tragic addiction
Styles, multiply like japanese mathematicians
Cut cause chaos - my kicks kill criminals
I'm the subliminal adolf
I'm the bomb that's attached to the time of a ticker
Figure or swastika
Quicker to pick a form of execution, pull it
Bullet, to the head instead of eletrocution
The rambunctious, bump in yo' trunk shit
Totally insane, hurricane with pharoahe monch, gipp
Xzibit the west coast (? ? ) (? ? ) we got
New york wearin slippers and the south wearin hoodies
[chorus 3x]
[dj hurricane]
Ye-yeah, uh-huh, ye-yeah
Give it up, uh-huh (dirty south) ye-yeah, ye-yeah
Give it up, uh-huh, give it up, shake it
Uh-huh, kick it (dirty south) uh-huh
Shake it.. uh-huh, shake it
C'mon, give it up (dirty south)
No need to wait
I’m heading off
I don’t feel like I want you as part of life
How your eyes look sad and surprised
I don’t care I’m leaving tonight
I’ve had enough
You’ve given up
I swore this would never happen again
You don’t cause my lips to keel
Your touch has lost its appeal
I trusted you in my arms
I carried you with my heart
It’s criminal not to feel at all
I’m sorry but you’ve left it too late
We can’t keep holding on
We’re low on luck and out of time
I can’t keep holding on
It’s unmistakable we are incapable of love
I’ve had enough
You’ve given up
I don’t feel like I want you as part of life
You held control all the time
No longer there by my side
I trusted you in my arms
I carried you with my heart
It’s criminal not to feel at all
I’m sorry but you’ve left it too late
We can’t keep holding on
We’re low on luck and out of time
I can’t keep holding on for you to one day change your
mind
We can’t keep holding on
We’re low on luck and out of time
I can’t keep holding on
It’s unmistakable we are incapable of love
It’s hopeless you don’t help things
Your kiss could suck the life out of anything
It’s over
You broke this
Lips were shaking
Don’t feel we connect
I trusted you in my arms
I carried you with my heart
It’s criminal not to feel at all
I’m sorry but you’ve left it too late
We can’t keep holding on
We’re low on luck and out of time
I can’t keep holding on for you to one day change your
mind
We can’t keep holding on
We’re low on luck and out of time
I can’t keep holding on
Why are you searching for another lover?
Why don't you give me some respect?
I wanna strong, sensitive guy
I want him brow, but ever so shy
A gentleman with dignity
If you don't get this, it ain't you
I wanna boy to make me feel fine
With a little look in his eye
Gotta give as good as you get
If you want to start with it
You gotta be appealing
You gotta do it right
If you can't say you love me
We can't unite
Why are you searching for another lover?
Why don't you give me some respect?
When will we just learn to like each other?
Why don't we learn how to connect?
I wanna guy in which to confide
There to tell my secrets and lies
I wanna boy who's genuine too
If it ain't your style then it ain't you
I never meant to be so tough
But I guess I'm gonna find the perfect love
Listen to the lines I sing
Or I won't give you anything
You gotta be appealing
You gotta do it right
If you can't say you love me
We can't unite
Why are you searching for another lover?
Why don't you give me some respect?
When will we just learn to like each other?
Why don't we learn how to connect?
Slow it down
Leave the body and the mind
Slow it down
Come and see what you find
(Ooh)
Slow it down
(Ooh)
Leave the body and the mind
(Ooh)
Slow it down
(Ooh)
Come on and see what you find
You gotta be appealing
You gotta do it right
If you can't say you love me
We can't unite
Why are you searching for another lover?
Why don't you give me some respect?
When will we just learn to like each other?
I'm blind folded on this carriage ride that they call life.
keep trying to make it through the next turn, knuckles white and holdin'
tight
so here i go takin' the turn
but i know i never alone

Ooh aah you connect me
You are the one, you hold me in my place
Ooh aah you connect me
(You can connect me)
You are the one, you hold me in my place
You coward, I can feel you making eyes in my reflection
I know what you're thinking, just say it, you don't like me
It's a fact that I'm a dad, it makes you mad the dreams I had
But I can't help it, I can't help myself
(No, no, no)
Ooh aah you connect me
You are the one, you hold me in my place
Ooh aah you connect me
You are the one, you hold me in my place
You're unfair, you got a family that has needs, no dedication
If I were there for you, well then my dreams, they don't come true
If I was there for them, I'll lose my family and my friends
What do I do, I can't help myself
Ooh aah you connect me
You are the one, you hold me in my place
Ooh aah you connect me
(You can connect me)
You are the one, you hold me in my, hold me in my place
You take away the space between the two of us apart
You take away the disconnect to link us
Heart to heart, heart to heart, yeah
Ooh aah you connect me
You are the one, you hold me in my place
Ooh aah you connect me
(You can connect me)
You are the one, you hold me in my place
You can connect me
(You bring me together)
You are the one that holds me in my place
You can connect me
