Adam T. - AA Speaker - Hilarious Recovery Share! NEW 2013
Get ready for an AWESOME message delivered in an entertaining way! I love how Adam relates his story and his journey to recovery. This tape is full of laughs, but carries a strong message of hope and inspiration for us all! Sit back, relax, and enjoy! :) From the book Alcoholics Anonymous: "In spite of the great increase in the size and span of this Fellowship, at its core it remains simple and personal. Each day, somewhere in the world, recovery begins when one alcoholic talks with another alcoholic, sharing experience, strength, and hope." What is the Twelve Step Model? How is it a "treatment for alcoholism" or "alcohol abuse?" From Wikipedia: "A twelve-step program is a set of guiding principles (accepted by members as 'spiritual principles,' based on the approved literature) outlining a course of action for recovery from addiction, compulsion, or other behavioral problems. Originally proposed by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) as a method of recovery from alcoholism, the Twelve Steps were first published in the book Alcoholics Anonymous: The Story of How More Than One Hundred Men Have Recovered from Alcoholism in 1939. The method was then adapted and became the foundation of other twelve-step programs. Twelve-step methods have been adopted to address a wide range of substance-abuse and dependency problems." You can find out more at: http://www.aa.org - Alcoholics Anonymous Official Site (And as should be blatantly obvious, we are in no way affiliated with them or any other 12 step program. We are just looking to provide hope to those suffering from alcoholism or addiction.) "Addiction treatment" WORKS! There is addiction help out there and "addiction recovery" is possible. If you are battling "alcohol addiction" there are people who know EXACTLY what it is like! It is important to note there are several ways for one to address his or her "alcohol abuse treatment." "Substance abuse" is a very serious condition. Many need inpatient stays or counseling. The importance and purpose of this video, and all our other videos, is to show that recovery IS possible and to give hope to those who are struggling with substance abuse issues. Help IS out there! :) From the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous: "Abandon yourself to God as you understand God. Admit your faults to Him and to your fellows. Clear away the wreckage of your past. Give freely of what you find and join us. We shall be with you in the Fellowship of the Spirit, and you will surely meet some of us as you trudge the Road of Happy Destiny." Clancy I. - AA Speaker - One of his funniest talks ever!
I absolutely love hearing Clancy speak. He is one of the best AA speakers that have ever lived, in my humble opinion. In this tape, his razor sharp and quick wit are on display, as well as his stories filled with hilarious antics. This tape is VERY entertaining. Also, he articulates the message of recovery in a simple, yet profound way. Thank you so much for what you do Clancy! Enjoy the tape everyone! :) From the book Alcoholics Anonymous: "In spite of the great increase in the size and span of this Fellowship, at its core it remains simple and personal. Craig F. - AA Speaker - "Laughing is the Sound Effect of Recovery" (Funny!)
Great talk by a hilarious speaker from Scotland! I love his sense of humor and lightheartedness. He carries a strong message too, speaking about how he was near suicide, but got drunk and somehow forgot to kill himself. This share is very entertaining, engaging, and filled with funny stories and jokes. Enjoy! Epic A&A; Indian Wedding Film of Pankaj & Avnie Malani

www.anavideo.com
Pankaj and Avnie crash-landed into each other’s lives not long ago, and from there on, there was no turning back for either of them. Their love, alone, summoned family and friends from Houston to India for an epic destination Indian wedding in Las Vegas. An entourage of 500 guests flew in with the groom arriving in his charter Boeing plane, partying harder than Air Force One. Once our prince landed in Vegas early Firiday, there was no stopping this party until the after-partie early into Sunday morning. The pre-wedding Sangeet was held at the rooftop of the trendy, Cosmopolitan Hotel, with family and friends having the time of their lives. Then Saturday arrived and the groom had his ELEPHANT BARAAT to Bellagio, accompanied by mobile DJs and dhol players, that managed to shut down the Las Vegas Strip. This earned them the title of the Top 10 Trending Topics on Twitter under #baraat #prince #indiansinvegas #vegasblockparty. After a beautiful cermony in the courtyard of the elegant Bellagio Hotel, Pankaj and Avnie were pronounced husband and wife. A Great Gatsby themed reception left our team, and the entirety of the city, in shock.
To capture this truly unique wedding our Director’s Series came into being. We wanted to portray every aspect of their lives and create an epic short film.
The Wedding of Pankaj and Avnie Malani rightfully became the first chapter in our Director’s Series. With a wedding of this caliber, we flew out 8 of A&A; Video's best to Las Vegas, Nevada. To tell this story as it was envisioned, 2 of A&A;’s very own directors were included to lead the way. This Series goes beyond all expectations of what wedding highlights sould be. This Series takes the craft of film-making to another level.
