A two day regional dialogue will be held in Pretoria to find ways for migrant mine workers and their depandants to access Social benefits by migrant mine. The dialogue is organised by the Southern Africa Trust and the Ford Foundation, in collaboration with the Southern African Miners Association. According to statistics, sixty percent of mine workers in South Africa are from Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique and Swaziland. And over the years, some migrant mine workers often struggle to access the social security benefits owed to them.
