Valerio Fiori (born 27 April 1969) is an Italian former professional footballer, who played as a goalkeeper. He is currently a goalkeeping coach at Serie A club Milan.
Fiori is currently retired from professional football and will pursue a career in law. He has made only two official appearances in eight seasons with the club: a 4-2 loss in Serie A to Piacenza Calcio, and a 1-0 Coppa Italia win over U.C. Sampdoria as a first-half injury replacement for Christian Abbiati. Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani stated that Fiori's lengthy stint at the club, despite his lack of playing time, was due to his professional conduct.
Before AC Milan, he played for Lodigiani (1 season), Lazio (6 seasons), Cagliari (3 seasons), Cesena, Fiorentina and Piacenza (1 season apiece). It was because of his impressive performances with Piacenza that Milan decided to sign him, although at the time they already had Sebastiano Rossi and Abbiati in their ranks. Though he made four appearances for Italy's Under-21 squad, Fiori was never called up for the senior side.
