Jordan Michael "Jordy" Smith (born 11 February 1988) is a professional surfer from South Africa, competing on the World Championship Tour (WCT). In 2007 Smith won surfing's World Qualifying Series, the second-tier tour which leads to qualification for the WCT.

Jordy Smith won both the 2010 and 2011 Billabong J-Bay competitions in South Africa, which is part of the WCT Dream Tour, making him the no. 1 ranked surfer in the world.

Smith grew up in Durban and started surfing at age 6. He attended a local Durban high school, Glenwood High School.

Smith is known for the manoeuvres "rodeo flip" and full rotation "alley-oops' and he has been sponsored by O'Neill since 2007.

Jordy Claude Daniel Lemoine (born January 14, 1988), known as Jordy, is a French singer and musician.

Jordy is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest singer ever to have a #1 charted single. He achieved this feat at the age of four-and-a-half with the song "Dur dur d'être bébé !" ("It's Tough to Be a Baby"). "Dur dur d'être bébé" was #1 for 15 weeks in France and was a dance hit across Europe, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, South Korea and Japan. It landed at #58 on the Billboard Hot 100, making him the youngest artist to ever chart there. It was so popular that a Venezolan's TV show (Super Sabado Sensacional) even looked for a Venezuelan look-alike of Jordy.^{[citation needed]} Jordy was born in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Yvelines. He is the son of music producer Claude Lemoine, known for his involvement with the Rockets from 1976 to 1992.

There was concern that he was being exploited by his parents. Rumors of exploitation were furthered when the Lemoine family opened La Ferme de Jordy (Jordy's Farm), a children's tourist attraction which was a financial failure. Jordy insisted that the farm was his idea. After the failure of the farm, the French government banned Jordy's music from radio and television so as to protect him from exploitation. In 1996 Jordy's parents divorced; he returned to school and was later emancipated.

Julian Wilson a former pupil of Harrow School was the BBC's horse racing correspondent from 1966 until his retirement in 1997. He was succeeded by Clare Balding.

In his autobiography Some You Win, published in 1998, he revealed a rift with Peter O'Sullevan, his long time colleague at the BBC as well as saying that he had a strained relationship with Clare Balding.
