Adnan (Arabic: عدنان) is the traditional ancestor of the Adnanite Arabs of northern, central and western Arabia, as opposed to the Qahtani of southern and south eastern Arabia who descend from Qahtan.
Adnan is the father of the Adnanite Arabs who are the northern Adahoe tribes that occupied Hijaz, Yamama regions as well as most parts of northern Arabia.
According to Islamic tradition, the Islamic prophet Muhammad was descended from Adnan. Tradition records the genealogy from Adnan to Muhammad comprises 21 generations. "The following is the list of chiefs who are said to have ruled the Hejaz and to have been the patrilineal ancestors of Muhammad."
Come, follow me, behold my sight
Pure and full of my glory
All that I saw did me delight
Sin with me in my own story
So close my eyes
You’re real to me as sin I’ve done
My every breath you hold inhaled
No one can grab my memory…
Behold I rise, and now I know
I won the prize, your poison shed would be unshown
Chok’d up my path, no hid the face
You bring my Eden now
I was sent from high above
Just for you, in thy own dream
I will surround you by my love
Birds will sing deafen your scream
So close my eyes
You’re real to me as sin we done
My every breath you hold inhaled
No one can grab my memory…
Behold I rise, and now I know
I won the prize, your poison shed is now shown
Chok’d up my path, no hid the face
You fail my Eden now
Rise Eden to me so I gave her
My dreams will be untouched they were
Behold I rise, and now I know
I won the prize, your poison shed for me is shown
Chok’d up my path, no hid the face
I estimate their works and them
So rightly, that at times I almost dream
I too have spent a life the sages' way
And tread once more familiar paths
Perchance I perished in an arrogant self-reliance
Ages ago
And in that act, a prayer for one more chance
went up so earnest, so…
Take my hand, follow me
To the place where I lie
You will see, you will hear
The last one man’s cry
In other life
I was here standing by
As were you wonder why
Come to field where I died
Instinct with better light led in by death,
That life was blotted out-not so completely
But scattered wrecks enough of it remain
Dim memories, the goal in sight again
All which, indeed is foolish, and only means
The flesh I wear, the earth I tread are not more clear
to me
Than my belief
Explained to you or no
Grab my hand, follow me
To the place where I lie
You will see, you will hear
The last one man’s cry
In other life
I was here standing by
As were you wonder why
Come to field where I died
Now follow me
To the place where I lie
You will see, you will hear
The last one man’s cry
In other life
I was here standing by
Once again we will come
I see somehow white is turning grey
Cross the line
You’ve told me now:
“I repay for your cry”
Dismal thoughts burning in me
Save me now of what to be
For all sins beauty entwined
And my life is but declined
See the fading sun shines for you
Bring my stars to me, I dream too
For all times we share one our breath
When the sunrise comes – there is no death
I see somehow white became so grey
Crossed is line
Sob to me now,
I repay for my cry
Dismal thoughts burning in me
Save me now of what to be
For all sins beauty entwined
And my life is but declined
See the fading sun shines for you
Bring my stars to me, I dream too
For all times we share one our breath
Sky is turned grey
Banishing the black
And so appears the first ray
Sending the stars back
But the sun does not shine
On a single river or pine
No, just a forever wasteland
Endless expanse of dusty-dry sand
And from a cold mountain cave appears
A young girl, small for her years
She sits at the very edge
Of the miles-high ledge
The sun climbs higher,
Into the sky devoid of ozone
Skeletal bushes around her
Begin to simmer with fire
She stares at the beauty
Of the great golden orb
It’s the last things she’ll ever see,
As her life the heat begins to absorb
The great flaming sphere
Continues up into the sky
Shining on a surface world clear
Of any life or reasons why
Anyone who caught
A glimpse of the great sun
Anyone who saw the beauty
Would be a lucky one
The heat of the sun would burn you dead
There is no longer an atmosphere
To keep its harmful rays
From coming near
Her skin’s breaking out
In heavy sweat
As she gazes at celestial being
Of bedtime lore
And as she stands there
She does not regret
Her curiosity that burned her
Into no more
The sun climbs higher
Into the sky devoid of ozone
Skeletal bushes around her
Begin to simmer with fire
She stares at the beauty
Of the great golden orb
It’s the last things she’ll ever see,
Same old sorrows blur his eyes
As it’s time for duskfall
Looking back to see his tracks
He stands tall
Why he steps across the land
On these darkened ways?
Cast no shadows on the wall
Of the gloomy days
As I close my eyes…
Kneel down to the ground…
Emptiness fulfilling me…
Dusk is all around…
I try to cast this night away...
And feel the warm of the new day…
Dusk will come and bring him back
All of his despondence
Multiply the memories
He won’t forget
Dark is path and no way home
Time of night will guide him
He must kill the will to die,
His last regret
As I close my eyes…
Kneel down to the ground…
Emptiness fulfilling me…
Dusk is all around…
I try to cast this night away...
And feel the warm of the new day…
Until it’s over
…My eyes
Forever after
…My empty space
Until it’s over
…My cries
Forever after
…In my disgrace
Same old sorrows blur my eyes
As it’s time for duskfall
Looking back to see my tracks
I stand tall
Why I step across the land
On these darkened ways?
Cast no shadows on the wall
Of the gloomy days
As I close my eyes…
Kneel down to the ground…
Emptiness fulfilling me…
Dusk is all around…
I try to cast this night away...
And feel the warm of the new day…
Until it’s over
…My eyes
Forever after
…My empty space
Until it’s over
…My cries
Forever after
I woke up in the ice-cold room
In darkend silence I behold
This frigid frost reflects my doom
In sleep my soul will be unfold
Feel the silence, time is dust
That you keep in hands
Self-delusion of the dream
Wall of silence stands
Coldness, fear, breathing near
Lost, forever, blazing sheer
Heal my heart, awake me now
Feel my pain streams down inside
Horrid dreams depart somehow
But remains this cold night
Feel the silence, time is dust
That you keep in hands
Self-delusion of the dream
Wall of silence stands
Coldness, fear, breathing near
Lost, forever, blazing sheer
My winter spells to me
With bitter whispering
But silence is all I hear
Embracing soul with hateful fear
Embittered silence fills my mind
With pain
Forever frozen hope I find
My reign
Feel the silence, time is dust
That you keep in hands
Self-delusion of the dream
Wall of silence stands
Coldness, fear, breathing near
See my kingdom of the weeping heart
Take a look beside it’s torn apart
I can feel deep inside your chest
The frozen heart that needs to rest
When thy own heavens wept
Crying for my heart, crying for your soul
When thy own heavens wept
Dropping falling tears, facing all my fears to me…
Weeping from the opened skies
Can’t see through cascade of lies
Now I see my heart
Will it be torn apart?
Behold the new moon’s shades
Total decay and fades
Listen to heaven’s weep
Can’t anymore I sip
Behind the pale grey skies
Can you believe the lies?
Feel the fire burning up for you
Overcasting skies, will you break through?
Endurance, morning comes so cold
Drowns in the vale of tears in fold
Silent clouds cover us by rain
Just another day will go astray
I behold heavens curtain thee
Embrace your soul with silent weep
When thy own heavens wept
Crying for my heart, crying for your soul
When thy own heavens wept
Dropping falling tears, facing all my fears to me…
Weeping from the opened skies
Can’t see through cascade of lies
Now I see my heart
Will it be torn apart?
Behold the new moon’s shades
Total decay and fades
Listen to heaven’s weep
Can’t anymore I sip
Behind the pale grey skies
Now winter nights enlarge
The number of hours
And clouds their storms discharge
Upon the airy towers
All do no all things well
Some measures comely tread
Some knotted riddles tell
Some poems smoothly read
I see winter shades
Again I wait for you
Fall the snow
And cover me
I feel the winter came
To take my emptiness
This time doth well dispense
With lovers’ long discourse
Much speech hath some defense
Though beauty no remorse
All do no all things well
Some measures comely tread
Some knotted riddles tell
Some poems smoothly read
I see winter shades
Again I wait for you
Fall the snow
And cover me
I feel the winter came
To take my emptiness
The summer has it’s joys, they are for us
And winter cold is with delights
Though love and all his pleasures are but toys
They shorten lonely frosty nights
I see winter shades
Again I wait for you
Fall the snow
And cover me
I feel the winter came
