WHAT an amazing effort by the Albury and Yarrawonga football clubs to pull together last weekend and raise more than $40,000 for the James McQuillan Trust Fund.
These clubs have been fierce rivals over the past six seasons and it was great to see them put their differences aside for a great cause.
It just showed what great things can be achieved through sport.
The Yarrawonga community has been hugely supportive of James since he was injured and this is another example of that.
The same can be said of Albury and the Joss family in particular who have been there every step of the way.
