So what's next for the party and its controversial ambitions? "I think we will come to power within a few years. The whole of Europe is becoming aware of the loss of our values." Le Pen's anti-EU, anti-immigration stance found many sympathetic ears during the Presidential campaigns and The National Front now has their eye firmly fixed on the National Assembly elections. "We have surprised everyone with the coherence of our views", Le Pen insists, as membership of the Youth Wing of the party has surged. Yet the party's anti-Islamic stance has also alienated many voters and spread fears of rising extremism. If Le Pen gets a seat in the Assembly it will give the party its biggest endorsement for over a decade. "I think she is going to be part of the landscape for many years to come. For better or worse." West Africa is being plagued by a new outbreak of Ebola — a terrifying disease that causes its victims to bleed to death from the inside out. Ebola has no cure, and the latest epidemic is spreading fast.

VICE News visited Liberia, where many feel the new outbreak began, borne from the bushmeat markets of Lofa. Western scientists feel that the consumption and preparation of meat from monkeys, fruit bats, and other forest animals is behind the transmission of Ebola, and possibly a new supervirus, which if left uncontrolled could kill a third of the world\'s population.

Moving Right: Marine Le Pen's battles with her far left rival for place in French Assembly For downloads and more information: http://www.journeyman.tv/?lid=63577 Hollande may have won the French elections, but Far Right leader Marine Le Pen attracted record support and is showing no signs of slowing down. For better or worse." U.S. missile defense system hits target in key test

The U.S. missile defense system managed by Boeing Co on Sunday hit a simulated enemy missile over the Pacific in the first successful intercept test of the program since 2008, the U.S. Defense Department said. The successful intercept will help validate the troubled Boeing-run Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system which provides the sole U.S. defense against long-range ballistic missiles, and the Raytheon Co kill vehicle that separates from the rocket and hits an incoming warhead. "This is a very important step in our continuing efforts to improve and increase the reliability of our homeland ballistic missile defense system," said Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director Vice Admiral James Syring. He said the agency would continue its ongoing drive to ensure that the ground-based interceptors and overall homeland defense system were effective and dependable. Reuters reported on Friday that the Pentagon is restructuring its $3.48 billion contract with Boeing for management of the missile defense system to put more emphasis on maintenance and reliability. Sunday's high-stakes test came after the system had failed to hit a dummy missile in five of eight previous tests since the Bush administration rushed to deploy the system in 2004 to counter growing threats by North Korea. Earlier this month, Syring said that another test failure would have forced the Pentagon to reassess its plans to add 14 more interceptors to the 30 already in silos in the ground in Alaska and California.

Subscribe to VICE News here: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-VICE-News West Africa is being plagued by a new outbreak of Ebola — a terrifying disease that causes its victims to bleed to death from the inside out. Ebola has no cure, and the latest epidemic is spreading fast. VICE News visited Liberia, where many feel the new outbreak began, borne from the bushmeat markets of Lofa. Western scientists feel that the consumption and preparation of meat from monkeys, fruit bats, and other forest animals is behind the transmission of Ebola, and possibly a new supervirus, which if left uncontrolled could kill a third of the world's population. Match of the Day pundits Alan Hansen, Phil Neville and Brad Friedel believe that Uruguay's Luis Suarez "should seek help" following his latest ban for biting. The striker has been suspended from all football-related activity for four months for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini, and has been banned for nine international matches, ruling him out of the rest of the 2014 World Cup. Hansen says that the ban is probably a "fair punishment" for the Liverpool man, who was banned for 10 games by the Premier League for a similar incident involving Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic last year, while Phil Neville feels that Fifa have got it "spot on". How To Go To Heaven: http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/how_to_be_saved.html http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-28049565 27 June 2014 Ukraine: Putin aide brands Poroshenko 'Nazi' ahead of EU deal A senior adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin has lashed out at Ukraine's president ahead of the signing of a controversial EU deal. Sergei Glazyev said Petro Poroshenko was a "Nazi" and his endorsement of the deal was "illegitimate". Mr Poroshenko is expected to sign the full association agreement at the EU summit in Brussels later. A shaky ceasefire in eastern Ukraine, where pro-Russian rebels are fighting government forces, is also due to end. The pact - which would bind Ukraine more closely to the West both economically and politically - is at the heart of the crisis in the country and is strongly opposed by Russia. Mr Poroshenko's predecessor Viktor Yanukovych refused to sign the deal and protests led to his overthrow. After this Russia annexed Ukraine's Crimea region and pro-Russia separatists in eastern regions declared independence, claiming that extremists had taken power in Kiev. In another development early on Friday, rebels released four international observers captured more than a month ago. Alexander Borodai, head of the self-styled Donetsk People's Republic, said the members of the Vienna-based Organisation for the Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) had been freed as a goodwill gesture. "We don't expect anything in return - we freed them without any pre-conditions," he said. The OSCE said it remains concerned about four other observers captured at about the same time.
