A girl is killed on the way home from the city's hottest subculture nightclub. Burnout detective Alex Taylor is assigned to investigate, but the case soon becomes more complex than expected. The death links to a drug derived from a fungus, Ergot: the real poison behind the Werewolf myth.
The club owner tells Alex nothing; but one of the regulars takes Alex under his wing. At first Alex is appalled by this alternative lifestyle, but the more Alex experiences, the more he is seduced. But then more deaths occur, and soon Alex faces a greater dilemma than he ever feared...

She also served as the 2007 Chair for the State ICDA Summer Convention and Symposium, and has most recently conducted the 5th and 6t5 Grade Elementary Opus Honor Choir in November of 2008 and other district honor choirs across the state. She resides in Washington with her husband John, and daughters Zoe 11, and Rory 8.

Jennifer Wagner is the Vocal Music Director fciHighland Community Schools, grades 6-12 where she is responsible fortJagrade general music, middle school choir, high school varsity choir, jazz choir, and the musical. Previously, she has also had teaching position5 at Lincoln and Saint James Elementary in Washington, Wapello JuniorSe.fliqL High School, and Salem Elementary in Salem, Iowa. She is an 11 yea’ board member for the Iowa Choral Director’s Association, serving the offices of Historian, Website Manager, and Sounding Board Ad Manager. She also served as the 2007 Chair for the State ICDA Summer Convention and Symposium, and has most recently conducted the 5th and 6t5 Grade Elementary Opus Honor Choir in November of 2008 and other district honor choirs across the state. She resides in Washington with her husband John, and daughters Zoe 11, and Rory 8.
