JAPON : Les « Womenomics », au cœur de la stratégie de relance du gouvernement Abe. 11% seulement du total des managers, 10% du total des employés chez Toyota... Le rapport du bureau pour l'égalité des sexes du gouvernement est accablant sur la place des femmes dans l'économie japonaise. Mais le Premier ministre Shinzo Abe est bien décidé à changer la donne. « Les Abenomics ne réussiront pas sans les Womenomics » déclarait-il le 14 janvier dernier à Addis-Abeba. Simple effet d'annonce ? Pas sûr. Pour Goldman Sachs, mettre les femmes au travail boosterait le PIB du pays de 15%. Le gouvernement a donc décidé de multiplier les places en crèches (+ 400.000 d'ici 2017), d'allonger la durée du congé parental à 3 ans et de faire passer la part des femmes cadre à 30% d'ici à 2020. Dans notre reportage, on se propose de suivre Yoshiko Shinohara, PDG de Temp Holding classée 37e femme d'affaire la plus puissante au monde par le magazine Fortune en 2010. Nous l'interrogerons notamment sur les préjugés qu'elle a du affronter. Nous interviewerons aussi Masako Mori, ministre d'Etat chargée de l'égalité des sexes, sur les raisons de cette absence des femmes dans l'économie. On essaiera également de trouver un extrait du discours de Shinzo Abe sur les « womenomics ». On visitera aussi une agence pour l'emploi où on commence à observer une pénurie de main d'oeuvre dans certains secteurs où les femmes seraient de ce fait les bienvenues. On interrogera enfin les jeunes étudiantes à la sortie d'une université pour savoir combien d'entre elles se destinent à devenir femme au foyer, une « ambition » encore largement répandue et qui montre les limites du discours gouvernemental.
