Melanie Morgan (born 1956) is an American radio personality, formerly with KSFO (560 kHz AM) in San Francisco where her husband, Jack Swanson, was the General Manager. She was laid off from KSFO due to budget cutbacks and declining ad revenue, returned to host the morning show, then once more left the station as of July 10, 2013. She has also previously worked as a reporter for KGO-TV in San Francisco. She is the Chairman of Move America Forward, a "non-partisan," non-profit, charitable organization that supports the U.S. armed forces and their missions in the War on Terrorism. She is known for her advocacy on behalf of the American military, defense of the War on Terror and criticism of American liberals.
Morgan was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended the Lindenwood University.
Her addiction to gambling was the subject of the TV-movie High Stakes: The Melanie Morgan Story. In 2006, she told the San Francisco Chronicle that she had not placed a bet in 13 years, and has served as president of the California Council on Problem Gambling.
Cover Me Canada is a Canadian reality television competition show which airs on CBC Television. The show is a competition to find the most talented singer, rock band, group, or ensemble in Canada.
The show is hosted by Canadian-born pop singer Nicole Appleton and judged by Jordan Knight, Deborah Cox, and Ron Fair.
Contestants can select from four Canadian songs to cover: "Sundown" by Gordon Lightfoot, "Run to You" by Bryan Adams, "Life is a Highway" by Tom Cochrane or "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles.
The original format was created and developed by Jesse Fawcett and Kevin Healey at 11 Television and then sold to CBC.
Eight contestants are chosen from video auditions and are given a Canadian song to cover and perform live. At the end of the broadcast, viewers are asked to vote and share their favourites to earn them immunity from the next week's elimination.
Votes and online buzz are both factors to decide which competitor will be granted immunity and be safe from elimination by the judges.

Melanie is a feminine given name derived from the Greek μελανία (melania), "blackness" and that from μέλας (melas), meaning "dark". Borne in its Latin form by two saints: Melania the Elder and her granddaughter Melania the Younger, the name was introduced to England by the Normans in its French form Melanie. However the name only became common in English usage in the 1930s due to the popularity of Margaret Mitchell's 1936 novel Gone with the Wind and its 1939 film adaptation, as one of the novel's main characters was named Melanie Hamilton. The name's popularity increased until the 1970s since remaining constant. Melanie was the 80th most popular name for girls born in the United States in 2007 and, as Mélanie, it was the 86th most popular name for girls born in France in 2004.

San Francisco radio talk show host Melanie Morgan joined CQ's Craig Crawford and Naomi Wolf of American Freedom Campaign on Hardball Friday to discuss the video of Dick Cheney from 1994 contradicting himself on whether the U.S. should invade Iraq or not. True to form, the Queen of Vitriol demonstrated she has no self-respect, scruples or sense of decorum and will say anything to defend the Bush administration. Her hostile display was a perfect example of the current right-wing ideology and debate that is a serious detriment to our national discourse. To put it mildly, Morgan came unglued at the onset; lashing out at Chris Matthews telling him he had a gleam in his eye and only sought to attack Dick Cheney. Not satisfied with eviscerating Matthews she turned to Naomi Wolf and told her ho...

I upload this as a fan of the dying art of good (and not necessarily clean) humor on the AM dial. I do not own the copyright to this broadcast. This is probably one of the most hilarious moments ever captured on AM radio. For the longest time, KSFO-AM played this segment every year around Thanksgiving. (I'm not going to give it away. Just listen.) My mom called me up in Chicago and said to hit the KSFO online stream. I fired up Audacity and managed to record this. Rodgers is no longer on the air at KSFO and, as such, I'm not sure if they play this segment anymore. That would be a shame, since the airing of this call-in interview used to be somewhat of a tradition.
In this interview I speak to Melanie Morgan, chairman of Move America Forward about a care package program the organization is working on for the U.S. troops. Melanie Morgan also gives the straight talk about the communistic organization Code Pink.
This is the second part of the 06-24-08 interview with Melanie Morgan of Move America Forward on the Conscience of Kansas radio program with host Paul A. Ibbetson
Tony Katz interviews Christian Hartsock at the Nixon Library for the 2010 Troopathon, hosted by Andrew Breitbart, Melanie Morgan, Debbie Lee, and others.
