May Day March Sat May 3

May Day is International Workers’ Day, a commemoration of those who died fighting for the eight hour work day. Black Swan will be marching (along with unions and other socialist and working-class organisations). Look for a red and black flag, our banners, or our book stall.

Meet 10.30 a.m. at the grassy knoll on the King William Road side of Torrens Parade Ground (opposite Festival Theatre).
March moves off at 11 a.m. Route: straight up King William Street, turn right into Currie Street and March down to Light Square. May Day Rally to be held at Light Square.
