The seed for Is It Balearic? Was sown at Venus, in Nottingham, at the start of the 1990s. Venus was a club that formed an important part of the then "Balearic Network". A network that linked party-spirited souls throughout the UK, "legends" such as Back To Basics in the North with their likeminded counterparts at soirees such as Flying in the South. It was a time of "cultural exchange", coach trips and weekenders. Timm & Ampo, as residents at Venus, spent the '90s travelling up and down the country DJing at venues and events such as The Gardening Club, Stealth, Sabresonic, Ministry Of Sound, Club UK, and Voodoo. After over a decade of DJing together, the two friends formed Coyote in 2004, to produce music. Then in 2007, Is It Balearic..? Recordings was born, initially with the humble aim of making their own productions available to the public. Since then Timm & Ampo, and Is It Balearic..? have established a new Balearic Network, extending out from the UK to Portugal, Italy, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Lithuania, Norway, Belgium, New York, Ibiza, and Japan. As artists and label owners they've handled releases and remixes from and for Tiago, Max Essa, Justin Robertson, Mudd, Mushrooms Project, Giulio DJ, Aihki, Rompante, Phil Mison, Pete Herbert, The Project Club, Pharao Black Magic, Rune Lindbaek, Aeroplane, Steve Proctor, Andrew Weatherall, Hardway Bros, Phoreski, Craig Bratley, Pacific Horizons, Time & Space Machine, Prins Thomas, The Backwoods, Last Waltz, Begin, Man Power, Charles Webster, Soft Rocks, Chris Coco, Connan Moccasin, International Feel, RVNG Intl., Tusk, and Claremont 56, and collaborated with Moonboots and Jason Boardman on Aficionado. After teaming up with Ene on the Journey EP and a Backwoods remix in 2010 it seemed like a perfect match to get together on the 5 year anniversary CD. Chida has always been a big supporter of Coyote and IIB having had them over to Tokyo a couple of times.

Gavin Gordon (actor)
Gavin Gordon (April 7, 1901–April 7, 1983) was an American film, television, and radio actor.
Life and career
He was born in Chicora, Mississippi. Gordon studied secretarial work. While working as a railway clerk, he attended a film acting school in his spare time.
In Los Angeles, he became secretary to an actor who later gave him his first part on stage at the age of nineteen. After a film test, Gordon starred as Greta Garbo's leading man in Romance (1930). With his distinctive voice, Gordon acted in numerous radio dramas.
His companion for many years was actor Edward Everett Horton, who was 15 years his senior. They appeared together in only one film, Pocketful of Miracles (1961).
He died in Canoga Park, California on his 82nd birthday.

It was a time of "cultural exchange", coach trips and weekenders. Timm & Ampo, as residents at Venus, spent the '90s travelling up and down the country DJing at venues and events such as The Gardening Club, Stealth, Sabresonic, Ministry Of Sound, Club UK, and Voodoo. After over a decade of DJing together, the two friends formed Coyote in 2004, to produce music. Then in 2007, Is It Balearic..? Recordings was born, initially with the humble aim of making their own productions available to the public. Since then Timm & Ampo, and Is It Balearic..? have established a new Balearic Network, extending out from the UK to Portugal, Italy, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Lithuania, Norway, Belgium, New York, Ibiza, and Japan. Cornelia Van Gorder (Agnes Moorehead) is a mystery author who lives in a town terrorized by a mysterious murderer known only as "The Bat". Early in the film, The Bat enters Van Gorder's house and releases a bat, which bites van Gorder's maid Lizzy (Lenita Lane). With Lizzy in a panic, fearing she may now have contracted "the rabies", an outbreak of which local papers have reported, Van Gorder calls her doctor, Dr Malcolm Wells (Vincent Price), who is conducting research on bats.
Meanwhile, the whole town is searching for a million-dollar stash of looted bank securities that were recently stolen. Dr. Wells discovers the location of the treasure when the thief confides in him. Wells then murders the thief in cold blood, presumably so that he can take the treasure for himself, which he believes to be hidden in van Gorder's house.
A series of break-ins and murders by The Bat brings the local chief of detectives, Andy Anderson (Gavin Gordon) to the Van Gorder house. The Bat then murders two people in the Van Gorder house, Mark Fleming (John Bryant) and Judy Hollander (Darla Hood). Anderson attempts to determine the identity of The Bat, suspecting both Wells and Van Gorder's new butler, Warner (John Sutton). Wells is removed from suspicion, however, when he is murdered by The Bat in his lab.
Miss Van Gorder cleverly manages to capture The Bat inside the secret room in her house. The Bat shoots a detective named Davenport (Robert Williams), he is then shot by Warner. Warner unmasks The Bat and he is revealed to be Lieutenant Anderson.

Holden is cast as Commander White, who during an enemy attack orders that his submarine dive to avoid destruction[3] and thereby loses the captain of the boat on the last day of World War II. The bulk of the movie follows his career in the Navy after the war as his doubt and guilt wear on his marriage. Then, just as he is about to resign from the Navy to escape the ghosts of his past, the Korean War begins and concludes as an action thriller.[4]

Here Comes Tobor is an unsold pilot film for a proposed science-fiction television series based on the 1954 feature film. Tobor the Great. Produced by Guild Films in April, 1956 for the fall 1956–1957 season, the series failed to all and only the pilot was filmed.

Tobor ('Robot' spelled backwards) was a nine-foot-tall robot that had come into the control of the U.S. government. In Here Comes Tobor, Tobor is owned by Professor Bruce Adams (played by Arthur Space) and mind-controlled by Adam's nephew Tommy (Tommy was played by Tommy Terrell while Billboard stated that eleven-year-old actor Tiger Fafara had been cast for the role). Tommy is, in the series, able to control Tobor through an ESP detector. Moreover, his IQ is supposedly the highest ever registered. Bruce Cowling was also cast for a role.[4]
In the pilot, Professor Adams runs the Adams Research Center. The plot of the pilot episode centers on a search for a missing nuclear submarine, which Professor Adams and Tobor help the U.S. Navy to find. The credits of the pilot episode read "Tobor played by Tobor".

Down-on-his-luck Los Angeles architect and builder Edward Shaw (Keith Andes) is approached by Doris Hillman (Angela Lansbury) with a business proposal: buying land together, on which he would build houses that she would then sell, using her experience as a former real estate broker. Her husband, Gus Hillman, a wealthy businessman, would be willing to contribute half a million dollars as capital for the venture.
Doris quickly seems interested in more than a purely professional relationship. Shaw starts an affair with her and accepts the business offer. However, an accidental discovery leaves him convinced that the Hillmans' interest lies less in the long-term profits of the venture than in the $175,000 key man insurance policy he took on himself as a precondition for the deal, and that an attempt on his life is imminent.
Madge, the younger sister of Doris, develops a romantic interest in Shaw as well. Without knowing what Doris has planned, she reveals to Shaw that her sister was married previously to a man who died in Wyoming when his car crashed over a bridge. Shaw ends up drugged by Gus Hillman and barely keeps his car from going off a cliff.
The police are skeptical about his story and the insurance company refuses to cancel the policy, Hillman having portrayed Shaw as a man who is trying to steal his wife. Madge teams with Shaw to try to foil her sister's scheme, but Doris lures him to a mountain cabin and shoots him with a gun. A wounded Shaw sees both Hillmans struggle then fall to their deaths through a clifftop doorway, just minutes before Madge and the cops arrive.
