TV9 Biography - "Ramesh Jigajinagi" In "Nanna Kathe" - Full........., Ramesh Jigajinagi (born 28 June 1952) is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Chikkodi constituency of Karnataka and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) political party. Ramesh Jigajinagi was born on 28 June 1952 in Atharga village of Bijapur District in Karnataka to Chandappa and Bhoramma Jigajinagi. He is married to Shoba and has two sons. He completed his graduation from BLDEA's New Arts College, Bijapur in the faculty of Arts and later earned his Masters' degree as well.[1] Ramesh hails from a scheduled class community and has been able to retain the support of masses in the areas of north karnataka even after switching alliances and parties. The giant killer is still known for his victory against Indian National Congress' B.Shankaranand. Ramesh entered the 12th Loksabha with a margin of 1,31238 votes[2] Initially he joined the undivided Janata Dal under the mentorship of Ramakrishna Hegde. Born to a family of Warriors, he continues for fight for social justice and communal amity, no matter whether he is in the ruling party of in the opposition. He was born at Dodda Maralawadi, a village in Kanakapura Taluk, adjoining Bangalore on 19th September 1949. His ancestors were valiant warriors in the service of Maharajas of Mysore, held senior positions in the King's army and won the appreciation of the Mysore Kings. Mr. Sindhia had his preliminary education in his village and higher education in Bangalore and obtained a degree in Civil Engineering from a prestigious RVEngineering College, Bangalore. Mukhya Mantri was a drama in which he played the lead which resulted in getting the prefix to his original name. Mukhya Mantri was a piece of work which was presented by the popular Kannada troupe, Kalagangotri.
