Prince Fielder Traded For Ian Kinsler! Blockbuster Trade! Wow!
http://www.courtsidetweets.com In a stunning trade, the Detroit Tigers have sent first baseman Prince Fielder to the Texas Rangers in exchange for second baseman Ian Kinsler! The Tigers are also sending along thirty million dollars of Fielder's contract! The move allows the Rangers to give second base to Jurickson Profar, and the Tigers to move Miguel Cabrera to first base! I cannot even imagine how many home runs "the Prince" is going to hit in that ballpark in Texas! I never saw him being traded from the place where his dad, Cecil Fielder, became such a huge star! I think Kinsler will be a great addition to the Tigers lineup as well, and now they can go and lock 2013 Cy Young Award Winner Max Scherzer up to a long-term deal! I do not know who got the better of this deal, but it will be fun to see Fielder's moon shots in Texas! I sure wish the New York Mets had the guts to pull of a trade like this and give their fans something to get excited about!- published: 21 Nov 2013
