DURATION: 1 HOUR In this episode we follow the midwives at Birmingham Women's Hospital who care for pregnant mums at both ends of the age range and explore what it means to be an old mum or a young mum. In the past decade, the number of women having babies in their forties has almost doubled. Bridget is the hospital's longest serving midwife who has seen it all, yet even she's a little surprised when she meets 48-year-old Artemis who is pregnant with her first child with 50-year-old partner, Bill. She conceived through IVF treatment but soon into her pregnancy she is diagnosed with gestational diabetes adding an extra level of concern for the midwives. At the other end of the spectrum, specialist midwife Jo looks after pregnant teenagers. Last year, she worked with more than sixty young women who gave birth before they were 18 years of age. One of her teenagers is 16-year-old Elizabeth who is seven months pregnant. In her final year at school, she only realised she was expecting a baby a couple of weeks ago. We follow midwife Jo as she helps to quickly prepare Elizabeth for the life-changing prospect of becoming a mum. Midwife Antoinette specialises in multiple pregnancies and as IVF treatment has become more common, she has seen an increase in the number of Mums carrying twins. Thirty-eight-year-old Lisa is single and pregnant with twins after having IVF treatment using sperm from an unknown donor. She has been referred to the hospital by her GP, as her blood pressure is higher than normal. As her pregnancy becomes more complicated, midwife Antoinette keeps a close eye on Lisa. When she is brought in for an emergency section five weeks before her due date, Lisa's long awaited journey to becoming a mum suddenly takes a turn for the worse.

Plot
A young boy loses his father in Afghanistan and finds it hard to fill the space his father once occupied with a mother who wants him to move on. The struggle between them is subtle yet dominates their relationship. Plot
Michael, a troubled teenager from an East London estate is easily led astray, despite his good intentions. Though warned by his overworked mum about his need to start taking his education seriously, Michael is talked into skipping school by his best mate, Cameron. The two boys hang out with Keith, a troublemaker who bullies them into shoplifting. Cameron, eager to impress, obeys while Michael tries to stand his ground. Doing the right thing doesn't lead to reward for Michael, who ultimately learns one of life's hardest lessons - bad things happen to good people.

In the past decade, the number of women having babies in their forties has almost doubled. Bridget is the hospital's longest serving midwife who has seen it all, yet even she's a little surprised when she meets 48-year-old Artemis who is pregnant with her first child with 50-year-old partner, Bill. She conceived through IVF treatment but soon into her pregnancy she is diagnosed with gestational diabetes adding an extra level of concern for the midwives.
At the other end of the spectrum, specialist midwife Jo looks after pregnant teenagers. Last year, she worked with more than sixty young women who gave birth before they were 18 years of age. One of her teenagers is 16-year-old Elizabeth who is seven months pregnant. In her final year at school, she only realised she was expecting a baby a couple of weeks ago. We follow midwife Jo as she helps to quickly prepare Elizabeth for the life-changing prospect of becoming a mum.
Midwife Antoinette specialises in multiple pregnancies and as IVF treatment has become more common, she has seen an increase in the number of Mums carrying twins.
Thirty-eight-year-old Lisa is single and pregnant with twins after having IVF treatment using sperm from an unknown donor. She has been referred to the hospital by her GP, as her blood pressure is higher than normal. As her pregnancy becomes more complicated, midwife Antoinette keeps a close eye on Lisa. When she is brought in for an emergency section five weeks before her due date, Lisa's long awaited journey to becoming a mum suddenly takes a turn for the worse.

Ubuntu 13.10 is a great Linux distro with awesome features such as the Heads Up Display and Smart Scopes. Is it user friendly though? Let's get Diana put it to the test. She may have tried Ubuntu 12.10 a year ago but she was a little biased back then due to how much she hated Windows 8. Let's see if she still likes Ubuntu now that she is better navigating different operating systems.
Please note this is the desktop version of Ubuntu and not the Server or Touch version

It has an awesome package manager which allows you to remove, download and install desktop environments, window managers and software with ease. Now Diana believes Arch Linux is the best operating system in the world that everyone should be using.

A mother (or mum/mom) is a woman who has raised a child, given birth to a child, and/or supplied the ovum that united with a sperm which grew into a child. Because of the complexity and differences of a mother's social, cultural, and religious definitions and roles, it is challenging to specify a universally acceptable definition for the term. The male equivalent is a father.

In the case of a mammal such as a human, a pregnant woman gestates a fertilized ovum. A fetus develops from the viable fertilized ovum or "embryo." Gestation occurs in the woman's uterus from conception until the fetus (assuming it is carried to term) is sufficiently developed to be born. The woman experiences labor and gives birth. Usually, once the baby is born, the mother produces milk via the lactation process. The mother's breast milk is the source of anti-bodies for the infant's immune system and commonly the sole source of nutrition for the first year or more of the child's life.

Catherine Tate (born Catherine Ford on 12 May 1968) is an English actress, writer and comedienne. She has won numerous awards for her work on the sketch comedy series The Catherine Tate Show as well as being nominated for an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTA Awards. Following the success of The Catherine Tate Show, Tate played Donna Noble in the 2006 Christmas special of Doctor Who and later reprised her role, becoming the Doctor's companion for the fourth series in 2008. In 2011, she began a recurring role as Nellie Bertram on The Office.
Tate was born in Bloomsbury and brought up in the Brunswick Centre. Her mother, Josephine, was a florist, and Tate has said that the character of Margaret in The Catherine Tate Show, who shrieks at the slightest of disturbances, is based largely on Josephine.
Tate never knew her father, as he left very early on in her life, and consequently, she was brought up in a female-dominated environment, being cared for by her mother, grandmother and her godparents. As a child, Tate suffered from an obsessive-compulsive disorder which centred on word association. For example, Tate was not able to leave a jumper on the floor or it might have brought misfortune to her mother whose name began with the letter "J" like jumper.

Zain Bhikha (Hindi: ज़ैन भिखा, Urdu: زین بھکھا; born August 9, 1974) is an South African singer-songwriter, who has achieved success as a performer of Islamic nasheed songs. Associated with other Muslim musicians, including Yusuf Islam and Dawud Wharnsby, Bhikha has collaborated on albums and also released several solo albums. He has written several religious albums concerning Islam.[citation needed]
Bhikha sometimes performs with a drummer and several backup vocalists who were the African singers in the Disney cartoon movie The Lion King. Bhikha did not himself contribute to that film.
Bhikha's music almost exclusively follows Islamic themes, with only voice and drums being used, since the use of musical instruments other than the voice and the drum is an area of debate in Muslim jurisprudence, considered harām, or "unlawful" by a portion of the Muslim community.[citation needed]
Bhikha is currently involved in educational projects in his native South Africa as well as international initiatives to educate through song. He is also working with Indian Islamic Channel, Peace TV.[citation needed]
