Kunming knife attack: Deadly rampage in Chinese train station leaves 30 dead, more than 130 injured
A mass knife attack at a train station in the southwestern Chinese city of Kunming left more than 30 dead and over 130 injured. A group of assailants, dressed in black and wielding large knives and machetes attacked people at random a train station in the southwestern Chinese city of Kunming late on Saturday. Police shot dead five of the attackers and authorities are actively hunting down the remaining assailants. The black-clad attackers, covered their faces with masks and stormed the crowded train station at 9:20 pm. A witness said she heard people around her shouting "they are hacking people" and along with others ran into the train station seeking shelter. She next saw a tall man donning a mask and wielding a machete, lashing out indiscriminately. According to another witness account, police initially ineffectively fired teargas at the assailants, before eventually firing at them. Officials called the assault well-planned and blamed Xinjiang separatists for the deadly attack at the train station. State media even went as far as to call the act China's "911" and resolutely called for a crackdown on terrorism. Chinese president Xi Jinping has called for "all-out efforts" to bring to justice those involved in the attack. Local police have set up checkpoints along every route out of the city to ensure suspects are unable to escape. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets. Another 130 people were wounded in what authorities said was a "premeditated, violent terrorist attack". Four suspects were shot dead, one arrested and other are being sought Xinhua said. City officials said evidence implicated militants from the western region of Xinjiang, but this was not verified. President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang have sent condolences to the victims and their families. President Xi urged "all-out efforts" to investigate the attack. "Severely punish in accordance with the law the violent terrorists and resolutely crack down on those who have been swollen with arrogance," Xinhua quoted the president as saying. Pools of blood Witnesses said that the men, who were mostly dressed in black, attacked people at random. A survivor named Yang Haifei, who was wounded in the back and chest, told Xinhua he had been buying a train ticket when the attackers rushed into the station. "I saw a person come straight at me with a long knife and I ran away with everyone," he said. He added that those too slow to flee were cut down. Some who escaped were desperately looking for missing loved ones. Yang Ziqing told Xinhua she and her husband had been waiting for a train to Shanghai "when a knife-wielding man suddenly came at them". "I can't find my husband, and his phone went unanswered," she said. Social media users in China posted pictures of the attack on the internet, but correspondents say they are being taken down. Images seen by the BBC show men and women lying on the floor in pools of blood following the attack. Kunming officials, quoted by Xinhua, later said that evidence at the scene showed it was "a terrorist attack carried out by Xinjiang separatist forces". Xinjiang is home to the Muslim Uighur minority group which has a long history of discord with Chinese authorities. State broadcaster CCTV said top security official Meng Jianzhu would travel to Kunming to oversee the handling of the investigation. China's 9/11: Kunming Knife Massacre | China Uncensored
The brutal stabbing in a rail station in Kunming is being called China's 9/11. But Chinese authorities are keeping tight lipped about new information, and multiple narratives are emerging about what actually happened. Were the terrorists Xinjiang Uighur Muslim separatists? That's the impression Chinese authorities are giving, but as facts start to emerge, the truth seems to be buried behind lies. What really happened in Kunming, days ahead of China's Two Sessions? New York Times: Conflicting Versions of The Kunming Incident
On March 5, state-run media reported that Li Keqiang broke into condemnation of the attackers in the Kunming Incident during his work report at the Communist Parliamentary meetings. Li Keqiang did not mention the formally characterized so-called "Xinjiang separatists", but only emphasized "the violent crime that challenged the bottom line of human civilization" and "violent terrorists" in his more than one minute improvised speech. Meanwhile, international media correspondents gave differing versions of events from that of the official claim of the Kunming Incident. see the report. "The New York Times' Beijing correspondent, Andrew Jacobs, quoted a source in the review article titled, 'Opposing Narratives in Piecing Together Kunming Attackers' Motives' said: "recently, the Uyghur are increasingly at odds with the nation's ethnic Han majority. These attackers may have been driven to desperation after their attempts to leave China were thwarted at the country's border with Laos." "In recent months, more than 100 Uyghurs have been shot and killed by the police in skirmishes that the authorities have called 'terror attacks', but the exiled groups say are little more than extrajudicial killings," said the article. The article adds: "But exile groups and human rights advocates say the government also exaggerates the threat of Islamic-inspired violence and brands even Uyghur dissidents as separatists." Beijing social activist Hu Jia: "The Uyghurs can be easily labeled as Xinjiang separatists because of their faith and demands. Once guilt is established; they will be in prison or even eradicated. In this case, the Uyghur could not survive and had to flee and hide outside. As I know it's hard for Uyghur and Tibetans to get a passport. " On March 6, Chinese Communist Party Secretary of the Uyghur Autonomous Region, Zhang Chunxian said; in the Xinjiang delegation discussion of the parliamentary meetings that no tolerance, only crackdown of terrorists can be applied. But he denied that the crackdown has caused the frequent violence in Xinjiang that is spreading to Beijing, Kunming and other areas outside Xinjiang. Andrew Jacobs reported that: "In recent years, scores of Uyghurs seeking to flee the country have been captured at China's border with Southeast Asia and sent back home for punishment." Beijing social activist Hu Jia: "The Uyghurs can be easily labeled as Xinjiang separatists because of their faith and demands. Once guilt is established; they will be in prison or even eradicated. Andrew Jacobs reported that, "In recent years, scores of Uyghurs seeking to flee the country have been captured at China's border with Southeast Asia and sent back home for punishment." Hu Jia: "For Tibetans and Uyghur, religious freedom is often suppressed. I believe it's possible for them to flee this country." China social problem researcher Zhang Jian: "What turned them into such a process of ruining themselves and destroying others? While condemning violence, we must dig into the problems of the CCP: In the issues of Xinjiang and Tibet, On the one hand, they deprived minorities of the right to practice religion and then migrated a large number of Han Chinese to grab limited resources as CCP's property on the other hand." Zhang Chunxian also said that "90% of Xinjiang violence is because the terrorist accessed the blocked website over the firewall." Zhang Jian: "That means that the worldly people are terrorists except for those people from China, North Korea and Iran imprisoned by the firewall. All people are free to browse the Internet information, why can't Chinese people? If all Chinese people can freely browse the outside world, they might know the value of democracy and freedom. I believe that the CCP will self destruct rather than by rampant terrorism in China." Beijing activist Hu Jia said that much information is being blocked because the Chinese authorities control the political and legal departments. Hu said that current officials, not able to nutralize the CCP's policy, have to continue to be the executioner of the CCP's blood and iron policy.- published: 08 Mar 2014

China Separatists Blamed For Kunming Knife Rampage - 2 March 2014
Chinese officials have blamed separatists from the north-western Xinjiang region for a mass knife attack at a railway station that left 29 people dead and at least 130 wounded. A group of attackers, dressed in black, burst into the station in the south-west city of Kunming and began stabbing people at random. Images from the scene posted online showed bodies lying in pools of blood. State news agency Xinhua said police shot at least four suspects dead. A female suspect was arrested and is being treated in hospital for unspecified injuries while a search continues for others who fled the scene, the BBC's Celia Hatton in Beijing reports. Authorities described the incident as an "organised, premeditated, violent terrorist attack". The Kunming city government later said that evidence from the scene pointed to separatists from Xinjiang as being behind the attack. It gave no details and the claim could not be verified. Some of Xinjiang's minority Uighur Muslims want autonomy from Chinese rule and an end to state suppression of their religion. Witnesses in Kunming said those who couldn't run quickly were cut down by the attackers' knives. A survivor named Yang Haifei, who was wounded in the back and chest, told Xinhua he had been buying a train ticket when the attackers rushed into the station. "I saw a person come straight at me with a long knife and I ran away with everyone," he said. First reports said the attackers were only men, but witnesses and police later said the group also included women. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang sent condolences to the victims and their families. President Xi urged "all-out efforts" to investigate the attack. "Severely punish in accordance with the law the violent terrorists and resolutely crack down on those who have been swollen with arrogance," Xinhua quoted the president as saying. The incident comes a few days before the opening of China's annual parliamentary session, the National People's Congress. Our correspondent says domestic security is expected to top the agenda. Last October China blamed Xinjiang separatists when a car was driven into a crowd of people on the edge of Beijing's Tiananamen Square, leaving five dead. Kunming's Bloody Attack: The Communist Party Tightens Control Over Media Reports
Follow us on TWITTER: http://twitter.com/cnforbiddennews Like us on FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/chinaforbiddennews On Mar. 1, a bloody assault occurred at the railway station of Kunming city, Yunnan Province. Official reports claim there were 29 fatalities and 143 injuries as of 9 a.m. on Mar. 2. The incident immediately became the hottest topic on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, and China's Internet, and was widely reported by Chinese media. However, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) then tightened control over the media, and required all reports to tow the same line as party mouthpieces. As a result, it became very difficult to know the facts, causing the incident to appear even more mysterious. At 9:20 p.m. of March 1, a dozen knife-welding men dressed in black abruptly began an indiscriminate attack in the crowded square and ticketing lobby of Kunming railway station. The police later fatally shot four attackers and arrested another. According to Yunnan's provincial health department, as of 9 a.m. of Mar. 2, there were 29 fatalities and another 143 injuries during the incident, including 73 seriously wounded. Ms. Shen, employee at a nearby hotel: "There are hundreds of police officers, including special police, armed police, local public security officer and traffic police. There are also rescue workers and ambulances. We saw all of that when passing by the entrance last night." The incident, which has drawn the world's attention, occurred just ahead of the CCP's Two Meetings, yearly high-level Communist Party sessions, which were overshadowed by the mass attack. The Party Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee (PLAC), Meng Jianzhu, as well as Minister of Public Security, Guo Shengkun, are making an urgent visit to Kunming. CCP president Xi Jinping and premier Li Keqiang have also issued special instructions regarding the incident. Many delivered messages of condolences to the victims via the Internet. Initially, Chinese media also closely tracked the progress of the incident. However, all relevant Weibo reports released by Caixin.com were soon deleted. A Chinese media worker, management director of Shanghai Mingdi Culture Inc., Piao Baoyi, later revealed an announcement from higher-ups on Weibo. The notice said the stabbing attack at Kunming Railway Station should only be reported according to information from Xinhua or local authorities; the report should not use a large-font headline or any photos. Hu Jia, Beijing Social Activist: "An incident like this is certainly negative. But the party won't allow a 'successful commencement' of the Two Meetings to be watered down. The Communist party is something with little humanity. Of course the attack in Kunming should be in today's headlines. The right thing is to publish multiple-page reports regarding the truth of the incident." Party mouthpiece Xinhua Agency officially announced that the bloody assault in Kunming was plotted and performed by so-called "separatists" from Xinjiang. Hua Po, Beijing Political Observer: "Now we have no other informational source to learn what the truth is. Four were shot dead and one was arrested. Who was arrested? Is he a separatist from Xinjiang? If that is true, I think things will become much easier. However, if the attackers are others, the problem would be much more serious and complicated." Social activist Hu Jia commented that all attacks against innocent civilians can be defined as terrorism against humanity. However, the real motivation behind the attack is likely different from what the CCP stated. Hu Jia mentioned the famous Uyghur scholar Ilham Tohti who was arrested by CCP authorities days ago. Hu said Tohti was like a bridge connecting the Uyghur and Han people, and he strongly opposed such violent attacks. Hu Jia: "Violence only aggrieves your families and friends, and delights your enemies. That will only lead to more conflicts. The party is the one that benefits most from those attacks. That will give it a chance to hide the truth of its policies in Xinjiang over years. The CCP can also glorify itself saying it has suppressed terrorists and there are legit reasons for stability maintenance." Political observer Hua Po believes that the attack may be related to the political unrest inside the CCP, as it took place right before the Two Meetings. The attackers were dressed uniformly and armed with weapons. If the CCP's security system was running effectively, the attack should have been averted in advance. Hua Po: "Did someone inside the PLAC intentionally allow the tragedy to occur? I am still waiting for the answer to this." Hua said it was also possible that the PLAC staff took their jobs lightly, resulting in the occurrence of such an event. He emphasized that this event can be regarded as a signal that the party is losing control over Chinese society. 《神韵》2014世界巡演新亮点 http://www.ShenYunPerformingArts.org/- published: 03 Mar 2014

Suspicions Rife About CCP Version of Kunming Bloodshed
Follow us on TWITTER: http://twitter.com/cnforbiddennews Like us on FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/chinaforbiddennews Beijing authorities claim that the Kunming Railway Station case has been solved. But more and more doubts are being expressed. March 4, our reporter interviewed a mainland insider and was informed that the senior officials in the Chinese Communist regime got warning before the murder. They were told not to go out because there would be criminals killing. Mainland people also pointed out their suspicions that the CCP, both planned and carried out the Kunming bloodshed to create an excuse for strengthening their grip on power. Chinese authorities announced that the Kunming Railway Station atrocity has been solved, on the 3rd night There were eight murderers; four were killed on the spot, one was wounded and arrested and another three had been arrested and brought to justice. . The police did not disclose any personal information or motives for the atrocity. Mainland folk are not buying the story of the the massacre because of the so called, officially solved claim; on the contrary more and more doubts are coming to the surface. Was it an inside job? A screenshot of a Sina Weibo on February 24 under the ID "Frequency AC" was forwarded by mainland netizens frequently during these last two days. The Microblog said, "I am one of the soldiers and you will see me in the next few days. There will be a big happening this Saturday, so stay tuned!" The Saturday Microblog message coincides with the time of the Kunming massacre. People are suspicious that the terrorist attack was completed by the CCP's special forces? Who ordered them? March 4, a mainland insider who has longtime connections with overseas media told NTDtv: there are senior officials inside the CCP that already knew that the bloodshed would happen before the massacre. Mainland Kunming Railway Station case insider: He said "they were ready for the Kunming incident before it started. They got a secret safety warning notice not to walking on the street because there would be mass stabbings." The CCP insider on the Kunming atrocity is ranked above Major General. CCP insider: "we got the warning one or two hours before the incident. I believe this indicates that it was a premeditated event since the incident had not happened yet, or it was done by someone on their own side!" In addition, Hong Kong "Apple Daily" interviewed a person involved; a Kunming bus company staff surnamed Qin. He confirmed that the police did not immediately shoot when the police confronted the criminals by surprise. It was the people who were fleeing that shouted "shoot"; then the police killed the criminals. Folks cannot understand why the police did not shoot immediately? Some people even questioned: whether the police received the secret notice in advance not to shoot? Mainland "Rights Movement" promoter Hu Jun: "I have to say this is the fake, contrived and self directed foundation for their anti-terrorism policy. The stability maintenance policy is ready: just shoot randomly. They have to have an excuse and a name by manipulating a terrorist attack. It is the same treatment given to Falun Gong and the June 4th Massacre." the CCP's self-directed and perpetrated counter-terrorism drama is to prevent Chinese people rising up against them like the second revolution in Ukraine. Mainland network politics expert William Tell also believes that the CCP are likely to be the perpetrators of this terrorist attack. Mainland network politics expert William Tell: "they want to make a universal social psychology of terror to ensure that the people only rely on the CCP, so that life and safety can be guaranteed. It means that any resistant social movement has no hiding place in China after the second revolution in Ukraine. The CCP can nobly carry out suppression with the excuse of anti-terrorism." People are suspicious of a Kunming HD murder photo published by mainland media in the past two days overlooking the massacre from upstairs. Most pictures on the Internet are mobile phone photos by people on the spot that are uploaded to their microblog. Folks questioned that to take a HD picture from upstairs needs at least needs 10 meters because there is a limited distance for mobile shooting. Who took the picture with a camera or video camera? If the picture was from the people, why is there no microblog watermark? If it was from officials, who brought them there since the police came to the incident more than 10 minutes later and caught the thugs after 25 minutes with casualties everywhere? Among those with doubts about the official version of events refer to the CCP framed up of Falun Gong in the 2001 Tiananmen Square self-immolation pseudo case. The close shot, longshot and close-up in the video exposed the CCP's premeditated frame-up. 《神韵》2014世界巡演新亮点 http://www.ShenYunPerformingArts.org/- published: 05 Mar 2014

Kunming Attack Illuminati Freemason Message. WW3 is Coming.
An investigative Look into the Recent events of March 2014 showing the world Heading towards Armageddon. The 2014 Kunming attack (also called the Kunming massacre was a terrorist attack in the Chinese city of Kunming, Yunnan, on 1 March 2014. The incident, targeted against civilians, left 29 civilians and 4 perpetrators[1] dead with more than 140 others injured.[7][9] At around 9:20 pm local time, a group of eight knife-wielding men and women attacked passengers at the city's railway station.[10] Both male and female attackers were seen to pull out long-bladed knives and proceed to stab and slash passengers. At the scene, police killed four assailants[11][12] and captured one injured female. In the afternoon of 3 March, police announced that the six-man two-woman group had been neutralized after the arrest of three remaining suspects.[1][4] No group or individual stepped forward to claim responsibility for the attack.[13] China's official news service, Xinhua, announced within hours of the incident that it was carried out by Uyghur Muslim terrorists.[6][14] The government of Kunming also said the attack had been linked to Xinjiang militants.[10][15] Police said they had confiscated a black, hand-painted East Turkestan flag at the scene. At 9:20 pm local time on 1 March 2014,[18] a group of individuals dressed in black clothes rushed into the square and ticket lobby of Kunming Railway Station and started to attack people indiscriminately.[19] Initial reports indicated there were ten assailants armed with knives and cleavers.[19] The assailants killed 29 people and injured 143 (including seven policemen). Two security guards employed by the station were among the dead. The wounded were treated at 11 hospitals in Kunming.[20] Police initially attempted to subdue the attackers using tear gas shells but were unable to do so,[21] before shooting four suspects and arresting one. A wounded female suspect was detained at the scene and sent to a hospital.[22]- published: 17 Mar 2014

BEIJING: A group of knife-wielding Muslim men attacked a train station in southwestern Chinese city of Kunming on Saturday, leaving at least 27 people dead and 109 injured, AFP reported quoting China's official news agency Xinhua. Earlier, AP reported quoting Xinhua that two people were killed and 18 were injured in the attack carried out by the group. AP reported that Xinhua did not provide more details about the evening attack at the Kunming railway station in Yunnan province, and the attackers were not identified. Local television station K6 said that several of the attackers were shot by police and that victims were being transported to local hospitals. The state-run Yunnan News said that the men were wearing uniforms when they stormed the railway station and that gunshots were heard after police arrived. The motive behind the attack was not immediately clear, but China has seen a number of mass stabbings and other attacks carried out by people bearing grudges against society. Pictures on Sina Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, showed local police patrolling the station. Bodies in blood were spotted on the ground in the pictures. Doctors were seen transporting injured people to a local hospital. PTI quoting Xinhua reported that a Weibo user who was dining in a restaurant near the railway station said that she was "scared to death", adding that she saw a group of men in black with two long knives chasing people. The suspected terrorist attack came ahead of the meeting of the Chinese parliament next week. The origin of the attackers is not yet known or whether they belonged to northwestern Xinjiang province where China says the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM), an al-Qaida-linked group, is stirring up a separatist movement among the ethnic Muslim Uighurs. Several such attacks have taken place in Xinjiang in recent months as the remote province has been witnessing ethnic unrest between the native Muslim Uighurs and Han Chinese from the mainland for the past few years. - published: 02 Mar 2014
