Today, it functions as a museum and treasury. The Royal crown jewels are guarded here. The first king to take residence here was William the Conqueror, the last James I. As prisoners, such illustrious guests enjoyed the hospitality of the tower as the bishop of Durham, Henry VI, Tomas Morris and the wives of Henry Vİ. In front of the building complex known as the Queen's house just in front of Buckingham Palace, bare skin had at centuries around duty though the changing of the guards here at the house is less spectacular than the one at the palace.
