Costa's Luminosa ship heads for Miami

Earlier this month, Costa Cruises deployed its 2,260-passenger Costa Luminosa cruise ship to South Florida, making it the line's largest ship ever to sail from Miami, the Sun Sentinel reports.
The Genoa, Italy-based cruise line will sail the Luminosa on seasonal 10-day Caribbean voyages from PortMiami to six scheduled stops at ports in the Bahamas, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Mexico and other destinations.
Costa is a unit of Miami-based Carnival Corp., whose 10 cruise brands include Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line and Princess Cruises.
The Luminosa entered the high seas in 2009 and features four restaurants, 11 bars, 1,130 cabins, a cinema and casino.
