Soggy's Side Project Hits a Cool Note
by A Fungus From Yuggoth
Like, wow! The Spammy Pipers, the side project supergroup featuring Soggy of Death Cheese, Tom Thumb, and Peter Piper and Sally Satyr, both of Rasputin's Detachable Penis Band, is out of this world! A combination of acid jazz, death metal, Industrial metal, punk, garbage rock, traditional Greek piping, and Azathoth worshipping ceremonial music with a multitude of random noise thrown in, this is THE CD for you to pick up this holiday season! The album was produced by Quorthon and The Spooky Guy of Ectoplasm Attack, who say that they were surprised that it sounded as good as it did, given that they wore earplugs during all of the recording sessions. Brittney had been set to serve as disciplinarian but begged off, citing a foul mood over a recent slighting by Satan and the fact that she wasn't able to get her heart into her work. "I like beating Axe Man, not Soggy," Brittney says. "And when I beat Peter Piper, that pervert just enjoyed it!"
The band will debut at this year's VILE Awards, which will also feature a cool costume contest and fashion show by Lord Iffy and his Spiffies. Stay tuned!
