Looks like the recriminations have started in earnest within both Fianna Fáil and the Labour Party.
The first count in the EU elections has not even been completed and Fianna Fáil Senator Averil Power is tweeting a subtle but very public dig at the performance of her party under Mícheál Martin. Pointing out that Fianna Fáil's 1st preference share of the vote has dropped by 30% in Dublin City and by 33% in Fingal on their 2009 figures.
At the same time Labour Party back bencher Michael McNamara from Clare says that he thinks it is time for the entire front bench of the party to resign, with the exception of Brendan Howlin!?
