Yunnan
Yunnan is a province of the People's Republic of China, located in the far southwest of the country. It spans approximately 394,000 square kilometres (152,000 sq mi) and has a population of 45.7 million (2009). The capital of the province is Kunming, formerly also known as Yunnan. The province borders Vietnam, Laos and Burma.
Yunnan is situated in a mountainous area, with high elevations in the northwest and low elevations in the southeast. Most of the population lives in the eastern part of the province. In the west, the altitude can vary from the mountain peaks to river valleys as much as 3,000 metres (9,800 ft). Yunnan is rich in natural resources and has the largest diversity of plant life in China. Of the approximately 30,000 species of higher plants in China, Yunnan has perhaps 17,000 or more. Yunnan's reserves of aluminium, lead, zinc and tin are the largest in China, and there are also major reserves of copper and nickel.
The Han Empire first recorded diplomatic relations with the province at the end of the 2nd century BCE. It became the seat of a Tibeto-Burman-speaking kingdom of Nanzhao in the 8th century CE. Nanzhao was multi-ethnic, but the elite most likely spoke a northern dialect of Yi. The Mongols conquered the region in the 13th century, with local control exercised by warlords until the 1930s. As with other parts of China's southwest, Japanese occupation in the north during World War II forced a migration of majority Han people into the region. Ethnic minorities in Yunnan account for about 34 percent of its total population. Major ethnic groups include Yi, Bai, Hani, Zhuang, Dai and Miao.

Guizhou
Guizhou (Chinese: 贵州; pinyin: 
Guìzhōu; postal: Kweichow) is a province of the People's Republic of China located in the southwestern part of the country. Its provincial capital city is Guiyang.
Name
The area was first organized as an imperially-controlled Chinese administrative region during the Tang dynasty, and was named "Juzhou" (矩州, Middle Chinese: Kjú-jyuw). During the Mongol-led Yuan dynasty, the element "Ju" ("carpenter's square") was changed to the more refined "Gui" ("precious"). The region formally became a province in 1413, with its capital at old Guizhou (modern Guiyang).
History
From around 1046 BCE to the emergence of the Qin Dynasty, northwest Guizhou was part of the State of Shu. During the Warring States period, the Chinese state of Chu conquered the area, and control later passed to the Dian Kingdom. During the Chinese Han Dynasty (206 BCE–220 CE), to which the Dian was tributary, Guizhou was home to the Yelang collection of tribes, which largely governed themselves before the Han consolidated control in the southwest and established the Lingnan province. During the Three Kingdoms period, parts of Guizhou were governed by the Shu Han state based in Sichuan, followed by Cao Wei (220–265) and the Jin Dynasty (265–420).

Guizhou or Gui Prefecture (歸州) was a zhou (prefecture) in imperial China centering on modern Gaizhou, Liaoning, China. It was created during the Liao dynasty, and taken out by the succeeding Jin dynasty.

Gui Prefecture (Hebei)
Guizhou or Gui Prefecture (媯州) was a zhou (prefecture) in imperial China, centering on modern Zhangjiakou, Hebei, China. It was created in 634 by the Tang dynasty and was later ceded by Later Jin to the Khitan-ruled Liao dynasty as one of the Sixteen Prefectures.

Ok, now onto the info about this Chinese street food tour in Yunnan:
Xizhou, China
On Day 1, we drove from Dali Old Town to Xizhou, another ancient town near Dali, that’s known for some famous Chinese street food snacks.
We started for breakfast with a thick pea porridge and a pea pudding salad. The grandmother serving had been making these same dishes since she was a child with her mother. The breakfast was warming and delicious, and it hit the spot in the morning.
Total price - 8 RMB ($1.20)
Xizhou Baba - Probably the most famous Chinese street food you have to try in Xizhou is baba, which is also sometimes known as a Chinese pizza. It’s a round of dough that’s mixed with lard and meat, or the sweet version, and baked in a unique street oven using charcoal. Part of the fun is watching it being made. Then of course, eating it is absolutely delicious.
Price - 10 RMB ($1.50) per piece
Yunnanese cheese - Next up in Xizhou we went to watch a local Yunnanese Cheese demonstration. Yunnan is one of the few places in China where there is a cheese culture - some say it was brought over with the Mongols. We made some local cheese, then put it out to dry, then they let us sample some different types of the prepared cheese. Price - 8 RMB ($1.20)
Yi He Zhuang (怡和庄) Restaurant - This Yunnanese ethnic Bai Chinese food meal was the highlight of my day. We had an absolute feast of a meal, including a few unique Chinese dishes like raw pig sashimi and pine needle salad. Everything was colorful, using natural ingredients and the flavors were spectacular. This meal is one I’ll never forget.
Total price - 215 RMB ($32.41)
Dali Old Town - It was a long day of delicious Chinese food, and in the evening we drove back to Dali Old Town and headed out for dinner.
Duan’s Kitchen - For dinner we were back in Old Town Dali, and my friend Frank from Zouba Tours mentioned that Duan’s Kitchen was a little touristy, but he said we needed to try it because the food was amazing and they are doing some unique things. The food was outstanding, and my favorite dish was the chicken braised in chili oil with pu’er tea.

This is a Throwback adventure (filmed 2 years ago) when life was a lot simpler. We edited bits and pieces from our time in Guiyang, the capital, and Kaili, the gateway to Guizhou's amazing countryside. It is a true hidden gem with very few Western visitors yet so much to offer. During our 5 day trip we experienced incredible sour spicy dishes, unique customs of the Miao Ethnic Minority, friendly locals, and very low costs.

This is a Throwback adventure (filmed 2 years ago) when life was a lot simpler. We edited bits and pieces from our time in Guiyang, the capital, and Kaili, the gateway to Guizhou's amazing countryside. It is a true hidden gem with very few Western visitors yet so much to offer. During our 5 day trip we experienced incredible sour spicy dishes, unique customs of the Miao Ethnic Minority, friendly locals, and very low costs.

Synopsis: The historical war action movie "Rise of Tang Dynasty 1 大唐天下之揭竿而起" tells that In 617 AD, Yang Guang(Emperor Yang of Sui) came to Jiangdu with his courtiers, concubines, and imperial bodyguards, living an extravagant lifestyle. In even less than half a year, the peasant uprising had been picking up momentum when he was still indulged in praise and accompanied by music and dancing. Li Mi spread the call to arms that elaborated on 10 major accusations of Emperor Yang of Sui to the country, “His guilt is too legion to inscribe on all bamboo stripes of Zhongnan Mountain. And the pernicious influence is too evil to be washed off by even Donghai sea.”, according to the Denunciation. Influenced by the article, Li Shimin donated his money widely and met Pei Ji, Deputy Palace Supervisor of Jin Yanggong, and Liu Wenjing, Magistrate of Jinyang County privately. Together, they formulated a strategy to overthrow the Great Sui Dynasty. Li Yuan was too cautious to make up his mind to do justice. Facing the threat of the court, Li Yuan, inspired by Li Shimin, decided to rise and do justice to overthrow the Sui Dynasty. Ok, now onto the info about this Chinese street food tour in Yunnan:
Xizhou, China
On Day 1, we drove from Dali Old Town to Xizhou, another ancient town near Dali, that’s known for some famous Chinese street food snacks.
We started for breakfast with a thick pea porridge and a pea pudding salad. The grandmother serving had been making these same dishes since she was a child with her mother. The breakfast was warming and delicious, and it hit the spot in the morning.
Total price - 8 RMB ($1.20)
Xizhou Baba - Probably the most famous Chinese street food you have to try in Xizhou is baba, which is also sometimes known as a Chinese pizza. It’s a round of dough that’s mixed with lard and meat, or the sweet version, and baked in a unique street oven using charcoal. Part of the fun is watching it being made. Then of course, eating it is absolutely delicious.
Price - 10 RMB ($1.50) per piece
Yunnanese cheese - Next up in Xizhou we went to watch a local Yunnanese Cheese demonstration. Yunnan is one of the few places in China where there is a cheese culture - some say it was brought over with the Mongols. We made some local cheese, then put it out to dry, then they let us sample some different types of the prepared cheese. Price - 8 RMB ($1.20)
Yi He Zhuang (怡和庄) Restaurant - This Yunnanese ethnic Bai Chinese food meal was the highlight of my day. We had an absolute feast of a meal, including a few unique Chinese dishes like raw pig sashimi and pine needle salad. Everything was colorful, using natural ingredients and the flavors were spectacular. This meal is one I’ll never forget.
Total price - 215 RMB ($32.41)
Dali Old Town - It was a long day of delicious Chinese food, and in the evening we drove back to Dali Old Town and headed out for dinner.
Duan’s Kitchen - For dinner we were back in Old Town Dali, and my friend Frank from Zouba Tours mentioned that Duan’s Kitchen was a little touristy, but he said we needed to try it because the food was amazing and they are doing some unique things. The food was outstanding, and my favorite dish was the chicken braised in chili oil with pu’er tea.

Yunnan
Yunnan is a province of the People's Republic of China, located in the far southwest of the country. It spans approximately 394,000 square kilometres (152,000 sq mi) and has a population of 45.7 million (2009). The capital of the province is Kunming, formerly also known as Yunnan. The province borders Vietnam, Laos and Burma.
Yunnan is situated in a mountainous area, with high elevations in the northwest and low elevations in the southeast. Most of the population lives in the eastern part of the province. In the west, the altitude can vary from the mountain peaks to river valleys as much as 3,000 metres (9,800 ft). Yunnan is rich in natural resources and has the largest diversity of plant life in China. Of the approximately 30,000 species of higher plants in China, Yunnan has perhaps 17,000 or more. Yunnan's reserves of aluminium, lead, zinc and tin are the largest in China, and there are also major reserves of copper and nickel.
The Han Empire first recorded diplomatic relations with the province at the end of the 2nd century BCE. It became the seat of a Tibeto-Burman-speaking kingdom of Nanzhao in the 8th century CE. Nanzhao was multi-ethnic, but the elite most likely spoke a northern dialect of Yi. The Mongols conquered the region in the 13th century, with local control exercised by warlords until the 1930s. As with other parts of China's southwest, Japanese occupation in the north during World War II forced a migration of majority Han people into the region. Ethnic minorities in Yunnan account for about 34 percent of its total population. Major ethnic groups include Yi, Bai, Hani, Zhuang, Dai and Miao.

We edited bits and pieces from our time in Guiyang, the capital, and Kaili, the gateway to Guizhou's amazing countryside. It is a true hidden gem with very few Western visitors yet so much to offer. Synopsis: The historical war action movie "Rise of Tang Dynasty 1 大唐天下之揭竿而起" tells that In 617 AD, Yang Guang(Emperor Yang of Sui) came to Jiangdu with his courtiers, concubines, and imperial bodyguards, living an extravagant lifestyle. In even less than half a year, the peasant uprising had been picking up momentum when he was still indulged in praise and accompanied by music and dancing. Li Mi spread the call to arms that elaborated on 10 major accusations of Emperor Yang of Sui to the country, “His guilt is too legion to inscribe on all bamboo stripes of Zhongnan Mountain. And the pernicious influence is too evil to be washed off by even Donghai sea.”, according to the Denunciation. Influenced by the article, Li Shimin donated his money widely and met Pei Ji, Deputy Palace Supervisor of Jin Yanggong, and Liu Wenjing, Magistrate of Jinyang County privately. Together, they formulated a strategy to overthrow the Great Sui Dynasty. Li Yuan was too cautious to make up his mind to do justice. Facing the threat of the court, Li Yuan, inspired by Li Shimin, decided to rise and do justice to overthrow the Sui Dynasty. In 617 AD (the thirteenth year under the reign title of Daye), Li Yuan established a General-in-Chief's office in Taiyuan, claiming to be the General-in-Chief. 我們今天的故事，主要從北宋初年的遼宋關係切入，然後把重點放在北宋末年的宋金海上之盟。
宋金之間看上去好像約定好了要聯合起來共同滅亡遼國，實際上似是而非，稍微深入一些考察有關史料記載，就會發現雙方經過了多次談判，但是在疆域劃分等核心問題上，並沒有達成正式的協議和盟約，對遼作戰他們也是各自行動。
真正達成的盟約，其實是一份有關燕京等地的買賣盟約，而且這個盟約很快被破壞，金軍南下攻宋，但是直接責任卻是在北宋，遼金宋三國在整個過程中，都有短板和失誤，而將腐朽昏庸表現的最為充分的，有且只有北宋。
