Syria War - Heavy Clashes And Intense Fighting In Damascus Countryside |Syrian Civil War 2014. Heavy clashes and intense fighting took place between the Syrian Army and opposition fighters around the Air Defense Administration in al-Mleha town of Damascus countryside. There where also reports of fresh firefights and clashes in Jobar since the begin of 2014. The Attack in booth areas is mainly led by the Rahman Corps a Free Syrian Army Brigade but there are also reports of Al-Nusra Fighters beeing involved into the battle. After fierce fighting in the area the rebels managed it to take control over a number of buildings in the vicinity of the General Administration Of Air Defense and at least two regime tanks where destroyed. Also the rebels sucessfully destroyed a building occupied by government forces. Due to this the rebels claim to have killed more than 5 Officers and about more than 80 Soldiers inside the building. Pro rebels sources also claim the Free Syrian Army succesfully managed to repel a regime forces attempt to storm the town. However the clashes are still going on and there is no report that the rebels took control over the Air Defense Administration for now. It is pretty sure the fighting will go on for the next days. The fight was mainly fought with small arms fire, mortars, rpgs and static machine guns mounted on light vehicles and in builings also homemade grenades and bombs where used against regime forces by the rebels. The army repelled their usuall way via air strikes artillery shelling in the area. Al-Malihah also spelled al-Mleha is a town in southern Syria, administratively part of the Rif Dimashq Governorate, located on the eastern outskirts of Damascus to the west of Jaramana, in the Ghouta area. According to the Syrian Central Bureau of Statistics, al-Malihah had a population of 23,034 as of the 2004 census. The town is also the administrative centre of the al-Malihah nahiyah, which is composed of eight towns and villages having a combined population of 56,652. In order to fulfill this "calling" in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters) Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, "glide" over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and "see" the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.
