'Cause it's your next stop
Don't mean it's your last stop
Round the evens up
Round the evens up
If every heart stopped
Run-run-running and felt love
We all share
But bound to feel despair
Not bound to feel despair
And to surrender (3x)
If every heart stopped
Run-run-running and felt love
We all just bear
Not bound to feel despair
Goodbye, surreal despair
I seem to wise up
I seem to wise up
I'm on a path, path of recovering
This city and the streets I've been harboring
(3x)
kertosäe:
Last bits of it just to be optimistic
I lost my soul to the algorithmic shit
Like these kids in America
Their sex on the streets of illusionary state
I'm on a path of recovering
From this city and the streets I've been harboring
'Cause I'm on a path, path of recovering
This city and the streets I've been harboring
kertosäe
Like these kids in America
Where the shit hits the fan at illusionary rate
I'm on a path of recovering
It's never too heavy
This need for someone to blame me
For all that I've done
And it's never too heavy
This need for someone to save me
From all that I am
Oh you jackal
You jackal
Come forth, you furious lover
Beheaded but strong
Be ready for a war
Dear silence, give mercy
Keep lists on dangers averted
When you should've moved on
She sleeps while he's running
Relying on German electronics
Denying all the costs
Of what could be lost
We wish for love but can't take it
We wish for love but can't take it
It's never too heavy
This need for someone to blame me
For all that I've done
And it's never too heavy
This need for someone to save me
From all that I am
You jackal
There's something strange about the way the tap-water tastes
Making speeches for the walls gets harder with every phrase
I woke up and everyone had gone
I woke up when the sun was setting
I woke up and you were gone away
On any given day
We might fall apart (We might fall apart)
On any minute now
We might fall apart (Just like a house of cards)
There's something strange about the way the horizon glows
We'll lie down on the road and cars drive inches from our toes
I woke up and everyone had gone
I woke up when the sun was setting
I woke up and you were gone away
Maybe it's the chloroform kicking in,
the chloroform is kicking in or maybe we've given in
On any given day
We might fall apart (We might fall apart)
On any minute now
Like a ghost I've been recently
In a dream you appear to me
Merely trace from my novelty peak
I just needed some arms, you see
To be needed where you can't reach
I ended up in a broken heel mystery
I confess, that is my only hope
This place, it was nothing to write about
I confess this is my only home
In a ray of light it could've happened to anyone
But don't some take it all?
I'm blaming the odds, I'm blaming the do's and the don'ts
This conversation was already present before we talked
Do you believe that in time the healing is at your course
If you do no wrong
If you do no wrong
Like a ghost I've been recently
In a dream you appear to me
Merely trace from my novelty peak
I just needed some arms, you see
To be needed where you can't reach
I ended up in a broken heel mystery
It's such a wasteland, wasteland
We're living in a wasteland, wasteland
But triple the fear and the rage
And you'll get close to the past generations
It's not that you knew me, knew me
Oh it's not such a you and me -thing
Look under your fear, can you taste it
Too close to divided state
Of your memory loving your god
This conversation was already present before we talked
Do you believe that in time the healing is at your course?
This confrontation was already present before we talked
Oh yes you'd better run
Yes you'd better run
Yes you'd better run
Just to do no wrong
Like a ghost I've been recently
In a dream you give up on me
I mistook you for a stranger my lady in a golden outfit
I mistook you for a stranger my lady in a cornflake steamboat
refren':
I mistook you for a stranger my lady in a golden outfit
I mistook you for a stranger my lady in a steamboat lala
marching in when the saints go marching in
he was longing there a man who had 10 000 acres
but it was more than washed away
you could barely see the scrapes
marching in when the saints go marching in
barking at the moon again
he was longing there a man with everything, you name it
but the love he threw away when it became a pound at waist
was haunting him and barking at the moon behind him
these dawning days are cruel
it's the coming of the age that bothers you
just like everybody
you planed it in your room: to guys in a time machine
they'll plug into your world from a moonlit sky
and I wonder if you ever really noticed it but
somehow things make sense
although you don't know why
I mistook you for a stranger my lady in a golden outfit
