| Hello and welcome to the Utah League of Independent Voters information center. Independents in Utah as well as locally are an increasing force to be reckoned with. It has been said that independents are really partisans deep down masquerading covertly as infiltrators or just apathetic and undecided. We know that is not true. We are not partisans, and we are not undecided. We are decided, and we have decided to be independent! Independents vary widely on different ideologies, so it seems unlikely independents could ever be united. In fact, despite our many individual differences, on this wide reaching tenet we agree--"Get the parties out of the way and let the people decide!" I hope you will find what you are looking for here, if you don't please ask. There is a growing network of independents locally and nationally. You are not alone. We have many resources to help you connect to other independents who are tired of the partisan dead weight dragging our country down and taking Utah with it.
