Women’s rights are under attack in Albury. A group of anti-choice demonstrators calling themselves the “Helpers of God’s Precious Infants” (HoPGI) picket and harass women seeking to access the Fertility Control Clinic in Englehardt Street.
On the 6th of May 2011 the Border Mail revealed that the anti-choice group have been secretly filming the entrance to the clinic. A three month campaign led by Albury High School students in 2011 disrupted and obstructed this campaign of intimidation by the religious fundamentalists, you can read about it in our media archive.
