Given our knowledge of the fundamental forces of nature, cosmologists speculate about an early phase of the universe on an unimaginable iota of time after the big bang, ten to the minus forty three seconds after the big bang, when the forces of nature were all equal. This is called the Planck era or the Planck epoch after one of the founding figures of quantum mechanics. In this tiny instant of time after the big bang the temperature was ten to the power thirty-two Kelvin. The size of the universe was ten to the minus thirty-five meters, much smaller than a proton. The universe was a seething space time foam where there was no distinction between particles and energy or even between particles and the space they occupy. This represents the limit to our knowledge. With no current theory for the quantum nature of gravity, astronomers can only speculate what the universe was like at the instant of its creation.

In the first billion or so years after the big bang or before the first epoch of galaxy formation, the universe was in the period called the dark ages. No stars had yet formed. Ironically, the universe was smaller, denser, and hotter than it is now, and much of the gas and intergalactic space was very highly ionized at temperatures of tens of thousands of degrees. But the gas could not cool and could not gravitationally collapse to form objects, so the universe was dark. At some point within the first billion years the first stars formed. Astronomers refer to these as Population III stars. They must have contained the tiniest amount of heavy elements because that's when many of the first heavy elements were produced. Then starting with the stars, objects like globular clusters and small galaxies formed, and over the subsequent billions of years, by a series of mergers in the hierarchical structure formation scenario, galaxies assembled to produce the large galaxies we see around us today.

Falsification of the forgotten history mainly began long ago by first Egyptologists. Falsifications of the Physics, Astronomy and Cosmology began by wrong Big Bang Theory. for decades it produced deep cresses and intellectual disorientation of the young generation. When did the first galaxies form? The Milky Way has stars that are ten or eleven billion years old in the globular clusters, and there are galaxies in the nearby universe that are the same age. So we know that the first epoch of star formation must have occurred at least that long ago or at a redshift at five or greater. At even earlier epochs it becomes very difficult to detect individual galaxies because galaxies were still being assembled, and the first galaxies were rare in any region of space. The highest redshift galaxies known are at redshifts of six or seven, but astronomers anticipate that redshift of formation must have been around redshift ten. By redshift ten or at that time the universe was ten times hotter and a thousand times denser than it is now. Redshift ten galaxies have their light shifted so far into the infrared that they're almost impossible to detect with optical techniques. So astronomers are building sensitive infrared instruments to try and find them.

Epoch (astronomy)
In astronomy, an epoch is a moment in time used as a reference point for some time-varying astronomical quantity, such as the celestial coordinates or elliptical orbital elements of a celestial body, because these are subject to perturbations and vary with time. These time-varying astronomical quantities might include, for example, the mean longitude or mean anomaly of a body, the node of its orbit relative to a reference plane, the direction of the apogee or aphelion of its orbit, or the size of the major axis of its orbit.
The main use of astronomical quantities specified in this way is to calculate other relevant parameters of motion, in order to predict future positions and velocities. The applied tools of the disciplines of celestial mechanics or its subfield orbital mechanics (for predicting orbital paths and positions for bodies in motion under the gravitational effects of other bodies) can be used to generate an ephemeris, a table of values giving the positions and velocities of astronomical objects in the sky at a given time or times.

Apparently, all of the "ancient" eclipses allegedly belonging to the period between 1000 BC and five hundred AD that have with detailed descriptions allowing for astronomical datings get verifiable valid dates from a much later epoch, namely, the interval between 500 and 1700 AD. The old concepts of time were substantially different from modern ones.
