She's been growing her hair for 5 years and thought it would be a great idea to donate some of those locks to help somebody who needs it. There are many great charities that are willing to take hair donations. Jillian chose to send her pony tail to Locks of Love. They are a non-profit charity that accepts hair donations so they can make wigs for children in need to to a medical condition such as cancer, burn trauma and alopecia.
